History
Established in 1993
1966 - The company began as Padgett Business Services in Athens GA, to assist small business owners with their accounting and tax needs. Padgett quickly distinguished itself by using a proprietary-designed accounting system created especially for the small business sector.
1987 - Having established numerous franchises throughout the United States, Padgett crossed the border and opened the first Canadian franchise.
1993 - Brant G. Pour opened his Padgett Business Services of Toronto franchise.
1999 - Recognizing that the small business sector was not serviced properly by the payroll industry, we initiated PayTrak Payroll Services® .
2007 - There are over 400 Padgett Business Services offices in the United States and Canada. We continue to expand throughout the U.S. and Canada.
2009 - Mina Reydman, joined Padgett Business Services of Toronto.
Meet the Business Owner: Brant P.
Brant graduated with honours in 1975 from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom), where he received a Masters Degree in Economics and Finance. Brant is also a member of the Guild of Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Accountants since 1993.
Brant started his carrier in business management consulting, after obtaining his MA in Economics and Finance in UK. He worked on numerous international industrial feasibility studies and investment projects, in the capacity of Senior Project Manager and Division Director.
His extensive practical knowledge of small business accounting and tax issues, coupled with over 35 years of management accounting experience in the consulting industry, has made him a trusted business advisor among many owner-managed businesses in Toronto.
Brant is fluent in English, and Farsi, and has passion in music.
