Review from Deanna S.
Yay! Only a 10 minute walk from my place, I'll always choose to come here over Metrotown.
It's a smaller mall, but it's practically on Granville, so I usually start my shopping here. Some of my favourite stores here:
-Aritzia
-Sephora
-EB Games (For the boyfriend! They give out baked goods at midnight releases!)
-Town Shoes
-Purdy's (I can't resist the chocolate temptation every time I walk by-- peanut butter bars are my favourites!)
-The Body Shop
-Bath & Body Works (believe it or not, it's the boyfriend who brings me here the most... he loves wallflowers and we have one in almost every socket in our tiny one bedroom apartment)
-Blue Ruby
-Holt Renfrew (technically not in the mall but attached so it counts)
And then almost every other "name" store can be found just outside on Granville.
Thai Express in the food court makes great thai food for way less than you'd pay in a restaurant. I like to get the Pad Sew to go in one of those cute little take away boxes.
Great location, never as busy as Metrotown, clean, and secure. Pacific Centre is a hit in my books!Listed in: Clothes!

Am I the only person who thinks that Pacific Centre needs a renovation? I know, I know more renovations in downtown Vancouver...but Pacific Centre really needs it.
When I think of a "central" Vancouver, meaning a gateway for transit, where the most people intersect at a given time, where there are multiple busy streets going off of it...Granville and Georgia is what I think of! Meaning more tourists enter Pacific Centre then other establishments. The bathrooms here are ugly and outdated, the floors are old, everything just looks old...if you look at Richmond Centre or Metrotown, the bathrooms are twice as better than those in Pacific Centre but the malls are not nearly as busy. Anyways that's not going to happen ha ha but PC has moderately priced stores (H&M, Guess, The Gap, Le Chateau, Sephora) with some higher end stores (Harry Rosen, Zegna, Stuart Weitzman, Holt Renfrew).
The food options are better then nothing, but not the greatest. There is also a Blenz, Tim Hortans and Take 5 in this mall.
There are "secret" doors that you can enter/exit via to make your walk to certain places a little bit easier...find them. ;)
All in all, a fine mall, it just needs some updating (I think). -
Review from Roger A.
This place wasnt bad. It seemed like it suddenly got busy!!
There are alot of stores and even the food court offered really good selections.
The bathrooms, were kept up pretty well.
The one thing that I must say I'm impressed with is that the place was trying to be more green(which I notice is a trend in Vancouver) with more compost and recycling bins... That is a plus. -
Review from Taylor K.
I like this mall. When I used to work in Burnaby, I used to love shopping at Metrotown mall but not any longer. It is chaotic and it is so massive that getting from one end of the mall to the other side is annoying.
Pacific has almost all the stores that I like and it is small and I can get my shopping done super fast. I wish they had Lululemon but no biggie. I can always walk down few blocks down on Robson to get to Lululemon.Listed in: Baby friendly

Review from Simon K.
It always amazes me to think that when I'm driving into downtown, I am driving over the mall called Pacific Centre! A mall that most of the realestate is actually underground is pretty impressive, especially with the lack of space that downtown has. The mall itself, size wise hasn't changed much over the years that I have known it, the Bay has always been what it is, and in it's location, and Sears (or Eaton's as you know before) was always there. Holt takes over the addition of the mall from yesteryear, and the foodcourt that was located where Holt Renfrew is now, got moved to the Bay entrance.
"It is a Fairview mall" as in the 'high-end' shops are all here. All the recognizable upscale brands are here, the Apple store, Bose (is it still around?), Coach, Sephora, just to name a few. If you work in downtown, need to dodge the weather elements, need to blow some hard earned cash (or future hard earned cash) this is the mall for you!
If your looking for the smaller type shops, this ain't the mall for you! The parking is also underground, as in more underground than this mall, the prices can get steep if you stay here too long with your car, but be warned, it is cheaper to pay at the self checkout, then going to have someone stick their hand out asking for money (25 cents less every 15 minutes, I think).
The excellent part of this mall is the public transit, you have a few bus lines that stop here, and you have the old Skytrain line, and the new Canada line which intersect at this stop.
Most of these stores in the mall have shops nearby, whether on Robson, or Granville, and if they don't have your size, usually they will call there 'sister' stores so you can walk to pick them up in no time! -

I work in the building connected to this mall and I absolutely hate it because growing up, my regular hang out spot as a kid was Metrotown. Pacific Centre is all looks but no substance. They all the fancy schmancy stores on the upper floor (apart from H&M) that I can't afford anything from; the stores on the lower floor has all generic clothing stores like La Chateau, Sketchers, Gap, Guess, etc. but what really sucks about it is that every store is low on stocks for everything so unless you wear an XL or XXL, don't expect to find your size. Words can't express the vitriol I bare towards PC.

Review from Angel I.
Pacific Centre is a great downtown mall in Vancouver, and a great downtown mall in general in comparison to other cities. It's not as large as Metropolis (largest mall in BC) but it has the essential shops. It's especially great on a rainy day if you're not in the mood for outdoor shopping on Robson. There's a Tim Horton's, Sportchek/Atmosphere, Aritzia, H&M, Holt Renfrew (for you designer lovers), etc, etc. The mall is also connected to the Canada Line, which makes it super convenient to get to Rogers Arena, the airport, etc, etc. The full list of shops at Pacific Centre can be found at this website: http://www.pacificcent...
The best and my favorite aspect of Pacific Centre is their PARKING ON WEEKENDS in the EasyPark lot. It's only $6 from 6PM Friday to 6AM Monday morning for up to 12 hours if you're within the 6PM-6AM cycle, or 6AM-6PM. There are no in and out privileges, but you can't beat 12 hours of straight parking for $6 in downtown Vancouver. My boyfriend and I wished that we knew about this parking secret sooner, rather than paying for hotel parking on all of our visits to Vancouver. We've been going to Vancouver for years and this is the best parking that we've found in downtown Vancouver. The lot is attended 24 hours so you feel safe leaving your car here in this central location. -

DO NOT GO HERE ON BOXING DAY! A word to the wise... Any holiday for that matter, this place is too packed on holidays
It definitely caters to all crowds. With shopping options from Juicy Couture to The Bay.
I thought it would be bigger based on what I have heard, but it was smaller than expected and the food court was way smaller than it should be. But I guess since there are several places to eat in the vicinity, you could just walk right outside.
It's A-OK to me, but may be amazing to others. Guess you just have to see for yourself? -

A great variety of shops and fantastic location makes this a top choice for shopping during the "it's too rainy" days of winter (and the "it's too hot" days of summer). I love that it's not too big that you don't feel like you've been wandering forever - after two hours I'm pretty much done with shopping and want to be out of there as soon as possible.
The food court is clean and has a very modern feel, the bathrooms are on the classier side, and the comfy seating in the middle makes for a good resting spot for the husband when he's done browsing the Sony Store, EB, or Black's while waiting for me. The mall has been bringing in lots of new stores, so there's a good mix of shops there. It's also pretty crowded right after work as the downtown crowd does some buying on their way home.
Quick access from both skytrains (Granville Station or Vancouver City Centre Station, or by any busses that hit up the Granville and Robson / Georgia / Dunsmuir / Pender intersections (yes it's that long!) -
Review from Edward L.
I'm always amazed at how much mall they can cram in the middle of the downtown core. It doesn't look like much, but the mall takes advantage of an awful lot of space below the roads.
This mall is physically connected to a ton of stuff. If you know where to go, you can even connect to Vancouver Centre (the mall as well as Canada Line). End to end it's some 3 blocks.
As for the stores, there are the usual anchor tenants (Sears, Bay), as well as many name brand ones as well, such as H&M, Sony, and Mexx. There's usually something for everyone.
Just a quick tip: parking on weekends is only $4. So, if you ever need a place to plant your vehicle so you can get toasted downtown, this is the place to be. The parking lot (especially the Sears end) is HUGE. Just make sure you know how to get out. Half the exits close (literally) during off-peak hours so you may find yourself circling and following various exit signs. -
Review from Dani C.
Pacific Centre is a lot like other malls with a few exceptions. This is where the biggest Bay and Sears are in the Lower Mainland and they have things that can't be found in the other locations since the downtown location has a ton of more space. Pacific Centre is also home to the only Holt Renfrew in Vancouver. In general, the mall has the stores that can be found in other malls.
Pacifc Centre caters to a wide range of people so there's something for everyone. It's right smack in downtown so everything is close by and easily accessible. However, since this is downtown, a lot of the shops found in Pacific Centre can be found along Robson. The mall is easy to navigate and getting there is really easy whether it's by car or skytrain or bus.
Food court has a lot of selections, though it has the usual A&W, Orange Julius, etc.
Parking is expensive unless it's the weekend, but hey, it's downtown.
Preferably, I like Metrotown more since there are far more shops (and a theater!) and there's free parking, but Pacific Centre isn't bad. -
Review from Toshi I.
Great mall for retail therapy! Max Mara and Miss Sixty stores just to name a few...wow!
We entered through Sears and checked out The Bay (another Macy's?).
(Sears sells Kenneth Cole and Calvin Klein?) Food court had decent offerings and had a very mod, clean look.
I really liked this mall smack dab in downtown Vancouver.
Another interesting thing about this city is the number of malls in the downtown area connected to or very close to the subway. -

Vancouver, BC
This is probably my fave mall, just only if they had free parking!
Got a lot of time to kill? Stop on by here for some mean shopping time! I usually find what I'm looking for here. This place may not be as big as Metrotown, but they do have a lot of great shops.
Very accessible by transit or underground parking if you got extra money to spend. I like to park outside of downtown and skytrain down cause if you don't find what you're looking for here, you could always venture out to Robson street for some more shopping :) -
Review from Mark M.
It's a shopping mall with a lot of shops and it's big. A lot of good stuff and a lot of good bargains. This place is also right in the middle of downtown Vancouver, so you're right in the mix. Conveniently located close to the hotels, canada line and bars and restaurants, you can't go wrong in shopping here.

Shopping.
Pacific Centre Mall is the Mecca for shopping downtown.
Rain or shine, it's the place to shop.
And it's funny, the last few times I've shopped here was for shoes for her, dresses for her, handbags for her, food for her, makeup for her, pretty undergarments for her and even a nice Hotel for her, and me, and so on.
Hell yeah! you can get everythings. If there was nothing else to offer in Vancouver downtown you could shack up in Pacific Centre Mall and live, provided you had endless funds of cash.
Although in my case, it was never for me. It was all about her. But isn't that what it's supposed to be for? For her? Hmmmmmmmm Maybe I've got my priorities wrong. It should be for me!
Every city has one of those underground malls and I love all of them. But this one I call home. -
Review from Maxine H.
There are shopping centres and malls scattered all across Vancouver, with Pacific Centre Mall being one of them. Although there are several other shopping destinations, I just like how convenient PCM is. Located above the Canada Line and centrally located to be within 15 minutes walking distance to any and every tourist spot.
It's a very clean mall and easy to navigate. Has every possible store you can think of, even though there's another one right down the street.
It's not the largest of malls I've been to, but it offers everything a larger mall does. -
Review from Dru C.
An amazing mall filled with all the needs you need. I love how there are a variety of stores in the mall. Attaching the Bay to the mall makes it awesome.
There are some amazing stores like Sephora, and Underground which makes it a bit better. I love how there is a cross over to Holt Renfrew though. They don't need to expand it as it is a perfect size for everything in one. Added the new Canada Line made it easier for travelling now too.
The perfect place for everything in 1 -

Why, oh why do I come here? Every time I attempt to shop in Pacific Centre, I am annoyed and unsatisfied.
The mall is deceptively small. The shopping is a pale image of Robson Street, many of those stores have lesser replica within the mall.
As with all malls, this place descends to the seventh circle of hell during the holidays. I ventured into the mall, I was lucky to exit. Lesson learned. -

The extensive renovations undergone by Pacific Centre in recent years have rendered it unrecognizable. Still in place is the skylight dome at the Georgia-Howe entrance and, perhaps, the original flooring. Beyond that, however, you'd be hard-pressed to find any of the original retails shops that used to haunt PC's halls... in fact, so far removed from the original mall is it that I can't even recall any of the old store names.
Available here is everything you could possibly ever need... as long as all of your needs fall in the high-end side of things. Re-marketed and re-developed, this is now fully up-market ... would you expect anything less from a place that shares a walkway with Holt Renfrew?
The newest kids on the block are trendy and wallet-friendly H&M, Browns, Teenflo, and the Apple store. -

Vancouver, BC
Pacific Centre is the largest shopping centre in downtown Vancouver, and contains the a range of medium-to-high-end stores and services, including Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen, H&M, MaxMara, Hugo Boss, The Apple Store, Bose, Nine West, Sport Chek, Coast Mountain Sports, and more.
However, because many of the shops in Pacific Centre mimic those lining Robson Street (which runs adjacent to the mall), I'd recommend staying outdoors on nicer days and skipping the mall entirely. -
Review from Kristen M.
First of all, I've never seen a SEARS sell high end brands such as Tommy, Estee Lauder, Dior (makeup) are just to name a few. I guess in Vancouver, BC, SEARS is like a MACY'S back in the US.
All in all they had stores like Max Mara, Sephora and H&M. There is parking underground and they also have a food court. I didn't get to browse throughout the whole area but I believe it was linked to the London Drugs store that was nearby.
Overall, it is a small mall even though I didn't get to see the whole thing. It's just one of those things where there is a mall in the middle of the city. -
Review from Sonya L.
This is a good-sized mall, with all sorts of stores and a massive food court area. It took us a bit to find the place on a map, but once we did it was easy to navigate around it.
We only visited a few stores, but we had a decent time at each one. I was a little bit disapppointed that I didn't find much at H&M other than a dress. I think I way overhyped my first trip ever to one of those stores.
Prices are pretty high in most stores, so we avoided a lot of places altogether.
We generally had a good time, but this definitely wasn't the best mall I've ever been to.Listed in: Vancouver, BC

Vancouver, BC
The uber-conveniently located Pacific Centre Mall, located in downtown Vancouver, is home to an array of shops from Jacob, Geox, the newly opened (and only second of its kind so far in Canada) Apple Store, Blue Ruby jewellery, the uppity Holt Renfrew and Harry Rosen, European import H&M, Feetfirst, Aldo, soon-to-be-opened Town Shoes, Coast Mountain Sports, Footlocker, LaSenza, Crabtree & Evelyn and the Sunglass Hut, amongst others. The newly renovated mall also has a great food court with a wide variety of choices from fast food, ethnic and healthy food options.
It is very easy to get to from the Skytrain and will save you a wet-head if it just happens to be a rainy day. -
Review from Tim L.
This extensive downtown mall makes it easy to find everything you need all in one place.
It's especially convenient especially on rainy days for entertaining oneself and for retail therapy.
The new Holt Renfrew certainly makes this a destination to come to for finding everything you see in fashion magazines that are just off the runway. -
Review from Christine R.
New Westminster, BC
Pacific Centre, despite the renovations, still feels like a tunnel of shopping. However, they've always managed to maintain a good mix of stores with an emphasis on fashion. I really like the new food court, especially with the new washrooms, which you don't have to walk down a big tunnel to get to anymore.
I kind of miss the big old atrium where Holt Renfrew is now, but at least HR is now bright and shiny rather than dim and crammed. There is still that rotunda by Georgia Street with a Take 5 Cafe and lots of benches, if you need a hit of daylight while shopping here.
It's a good rainy day mall. The SkyTrain and parking is all underground, so you don't get wet walking from your conveyance to the shops, even if you forgot your brolly. -
Review from Megan S.
Where is Pacific Centre Mall? It spans several blocks, but largely it's underground. Around the Robson/Georgia/Granville area. They have a glass gazebo-looking entrance, but you can also get in through: Sears, London Drugs, H&M, The Bay, Noviascotia Bank, and many other of the larger stores in this area.
Inside the mall there are many brand-specific stores: Guess, Esprit, American Eagle, etc. The food court is big, and includes: A&W, Taco Time, Quiznos, Orange Callused, Jug Juice, Thai Express, and others.
Very convenient shopping, and for those not downtown, it's an easy ride to on the sky train to Granville station. I find that my favorite stores are the ones above ground, with their own street entrance. -
Review from Chloë E.
Vancouver, BC
Above all things, Pacific Centre is a great rainy-day shortcut. Hop into the Sears on Robson and then you've got two blocks of dry, consumer-filled walking heading north. It has saved me on many an umbrella-less day.
As most of the mall is below ground I find Pacific Centre far less ugly than most shopping centers. Looks aside, though, it also offers a solid variety of shops great for browsing.
There are stores for the teen set, for the rich mature woman, the career-starting gal, and everyone in between. There's even a calendar store that sets up at the cusp of a new year. I find the options for guys rather light, but there are a few male-clothing options on the upper level that are a little less noticeable. As I don't dress my boyfriend, however, I'm usually not too concerned about those shops--take a male opinion on this point.
Access to The Bay, Sears, Holt Renfrew, and H&M are all a bonus. Plus, how could anyone knock the amazing glass atrium? -

This mall used to be a "work" mall, meaning it would only be busy during lunch hours on work days when the people who work in downtown would go here. But now, after all the renovations and new stores that have been added, this mall is actually starting to busy on weekends! (That was unheard of abour 3-5 years ago!).
My favorite new additions to the mall is the very shiny and pretty Holt Renfrew, H&M, and of course the brand spankin' new food court with more selection than you would think possible! -
Review from Cameron M.

I'm a kid who grew up a bit of a mallrat. I spent a lot of my youth on weekends in malls and always kind of enjoy heading somewhere that's a 'one stop shopping' headquarters. Well, the only mall that's worth anything downtown for me is Pacific Centre.
If you're coming in from anywhere else in Canada, this isn't a very worthwhile tourist destination. It has all the shops you'd expect in a mall and not much more. Not even many regional shops are represented here, just the usual Gaps and London Drugs. The only standout is of course the massive Holt Renfrew. It's one of the few in Canada with a more modern design and is fun to poke around in if you can handle a few disapproving stares from the snooty customer service people.
As a lover of fast food every once and a while I also appreciate Pacific Centre's bigger food court as most of the fast food around downtown is pretty disparate and hard to get at. It's nice to have a one stop place for that as well.
But, what really makes me enjoy Pacific Centre is its nature as an underground structure. In a city that's under deluge of rain 1/2 the time it's wonderful to have an underground shopping center even if it's just to use as a walkway to get from one part of downtown to another.
So yeah, maybe not much to be a tourist at but as a place for locals to shop Pacific Centre is solid and useful. -
Review from Kim N.
The mall is fairly small. I was expecting something much bigger given the hype around it all. Parking was a nightmare. I nearly got into an altercation trying to defend our parking spot (my cousin got a spot, but was unable to back up into it for fear of hitting the oncoming cars, so I got out of the car to save the spot while she went around). Anyways, the parking guy was super nice and help defended me from getting run over by angry shoppers.
Once inside, the mall was sooo crowded. Good selection of stores, though why no lululemon!?
Bathrooms were fairly clean, always a plus.
Is there a reason why PC would close at 6 pm on the last Sunday before Christmas!? -
Review from Maria J.
The first time I shopped at this mall I was in awe because it was so big and took up a few blocks. This mall has some good shops Aldo, Payless Shoes, Artizia, BCBG, Dental Group, Pharmacy/Store, A&W, Taco Time (Not the way the states taste) Orange Julius etc.
Parking is underneath in a HUGE garage with no security, so don't leave belongings in the vehicle. Or you can park on the street or even take a nice walk from the hotel if it's not raining. -

Those who know me know well of my obsession with malls. I love shopping and I don't hide it. Haven't had to seek professional help for it yet but soon i would imagine.
I used to love to head down to Pacific Centre on Friday nites directly after work. It was my ritual every Friday and I very rarely missed one. So much fun checking out dynamite and Garage. Then took the escalator down to the old food court for Vietnamese food. Loved my routine.
Now after the mall has had a total Oprah makeover it is now so posh in some areas I don't even venture on that level. Gone are the quaint down to earth stores where the sales girls all recognized me. I am dealing with high turnover from the big box stores like H&M, Apple etc. Hell I don't recognize anyone anymore. As for the old fashioned food court it is now a bright huge manufactured mess with people cramming into everyone and one big rush. Nothing is the same anymore and while that is what is wrong with Pacific Centre it kinda reflects the world how disposable things and people are. I miss the old Pacific Centre and now I am lucky if I take the skytrain down there 3 times per year. My ritual is over.Listed in: Top Malls in the Greater…

It feels kind of small, even though it's the seventh largest shopping center in Canada. A lot of the stores are kind of redundant and can be found on Robson street. It's not bad and the location is good, but if you want to spend a day at the mall just for the sake of being at the mall, hop on the sky train and head to Metrotown. (The second largest shopping center in Canada!)
