Review from Ugly D.
My favorite restaurant to go to in the city! But they got rid of my favorite dish, the house pasta with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. The last time I went there, a transformer blew out and about half of ganges had no electricity. Not their fault, but i cried. Go here and have a wonderful time with any age, race, religion, or colour. Great views.

Review from Jeff B.
We had a nice lunch on the outdoor porch overlooking the marina. The Kummomoto oysters we're tasty although the presentation in an old aluminum dish was a bit odd. The Garlic Ceasar Salad was very garlicy even though the chicken serving was a little wimpy. The service was quite slow. Given that there are other places to visit in Ganges, it's likely we won't be returning as we hunt for even better eats.

Holy crap, I love this place. I live on Vancouver island and very rarely come over to salt spring island, ever. This was my first time eating at this restaurant, and I have to say, I was blown away. Sure the place is trying to be waaaay more fancy than it actually is (ie. Lamp wires hanging off of ambient mood lighting) but I felt it added to the experience. All I ordered was the house burger with bacon, and fries. The burger was excellent, large , greasy and not ashamed of being ugly. And the fries were the best fries I have ever had in my entire life. Will definitely have to come back and try the patio out in the summer, sadly It was kinda cold when I was there. Oystercatcher, one of the top 3 reasons to go to saltspring island, by far.
