I like their bento series.
There are about seven to nine options to choose from.
Sometimes the sauce on the rice is quite overwhelming. so you can ask that you want the sauce on the side.
Their dynamite roll, assorted sashimi and other nigiri suhi are nice.
definitely going back -

I love going to new sushi restaurants and had heard good reviews from a family friend. My friend and I went on a Sunday night and ordered a variety of rolls, mixed tempura (on special for $3.00), baked oysters, deep friend chicken and gyoza.
Pros: Everything came quickly, the rolls were a good size, flavourful, great weakly specials including our tempura ($3.00 for mixed tempura with shrimp or $1.00 for vegetable tempura on Sundays), and prompt, warm service.
Cons: For some odd reason every 5 minutes my guest and I kept smelling propane, baked oysters were very small
All in all good eating experience, our bills came up to approx 20.00 each not including tip and the portions were fair. They have a great lunch menu so I'd like to try their lunches, but I would definitely come back! -

Tried the Bento Box special for lunch today, for an extra 2 dollars you can add Tempura vegetables, so I did. For the price the food was ok, however.
The rice portion had a tiny drop of steak sauce on it, so I asked if I could have a little more. The waiter returned with a side bowl, and I was happy.
The problem came with the bill, I was expecting the extra $2, but there was also an extra 50 cents "open sushi" added. I was told this was for the extra sauce. When I expressed my opinion that this was maybe not a good thing to do, the waiter vigorously defended the practice, saying " what would you expect if you asked for more sauce at Tim Hortons".
Well I was not at Timmy's.
They got their 50 cents plus HST, I get to choose to never return and take my lunch dollars elsewhere. -

We went there for the first time on a Sunday night. It was busy, and the three servers also looked busy. We waited about 15 minutes after being sat to be acknowledged. We ordered the spicy salmon and a spicy scallop roll. Again the food took a long time to arrive. The rolls were not spicy, and seemed to be drizzled in a thousand island style dressing. Very small, and too bland tasting. Our friend ordered a deep fried pork rice dish (katsudon) that must have took 40 minutes to arrive. The batter on the pork was soggy and not crispy and the dish had very little flavor.
The most disappointing item was the $13.95 plate of salmon and tuna sashimi. It consisted of 5 little pieces of tuna, and 5 smaller pieces of salmon. To make matters worse the chef didn't cut the salmon properly and all the pieces were attached like one big blob!
The miso at $1.95 was watery and tasted packaged.
It is funny how restaurants only get one chance to make an impression. We live by Osaka, but will most likely never be returning...Bad service, long wait times and uninspiring food! No thanks! -

Good sushi and cooked options at a reasonable price, great location and convenient free parking on-site. Owners are a young cute couple who try to ensure the food looks just as good as it tastes. Many of their sushi dishes are truly edible art.
They close quite early (9pm) even on weekends, but it is bordering Oak Bay where everything shuts down early.
It's nice to have a sushi joint in this area, so we don't have to go downtown and deal with traffic and parking. And, their alcohol is very reasonably priced - $3.95 for local bottle of beer and $4.95 for a generous glass of house wine! They serve hot and cold sake too.
Not too sure about home-delivery that they offer - I haven't tried it yet as sushi is best served fresh and cold on the spot.
