Great sushi, great donburi, great food overall. So far, I have never had a bad experience there. My kids love it there. The service is good and friendly, lovely atmosphere.

Decent quality Japanese food, extremely in-expensive lunch specials and cute "traditional" decor. Good service, nice and clean.
The lunch special bentos were in the $7 range, an udon soup and roll for $9.95. -

After reading the reviews of this Sushi house, I went there alone to try the sushi and sashimi. I like them, but not very satisfied with the sushi rice, they are not Japanese rice, so, it's not sticky enough.
The service is good, they are very friendly and helpful.
The environment is good with some small 'private rooms' where you can shut the door and ring the bell when you need to order food or something. :)
overall is ok. After that dinner over there, I also ordered a party tray from them for the party . My friends sort of like them, but not the best.
Lunch is good too, I tried that two times, and they have some lunch special everyday (except Monday, they don't open on Monday) with a really good deal. :) -

Fresh and reasonably priced food. I loved the sushi in my bento box dinner so much that I ordered extra sushi along with unagi hand roll and ikura sushi. My husband would definitely order the salmon teriyaki again. The decor is charming and traditional. Overall between the food and affable service we will definitely be back. Even willing to bring THE Japanese connoisseur of my family next time.

Wow! What a surprise...this seemingly desolate, lonely, and possibly tacky restaurant was actually decent and returnable. I wouldn't say it was awesome as I've been to too many yummy Japanese restaurants in tdot...but since it's around the corner from my house and my seven month old is sometimes limiting....we will be back. We ordered the sashimi platter and a fees rolls.
I found their menu a bit westernized for my taste in terms of the rolls. Cheese and mayo in rolls...a bit too gross for me but rainbow, and the dancing eel (i think that is what it's called) was not bad.
Service was good...even gave us freebees...like dumplings, tempura and some fried mash potato.
Will be back....seems harsh for a three star rating but IMO, 4 and 5 stars are really reserved for true excellence and this one is just A-OK! :) -

I found a coupon of freebies sushi rolls in the magazine.. that's the reason that I went to Osaka.. If not I would not even know that it opened up recently in a little strip plaza on Hwy 7 just west of Markham road.
The storefront signs is so neat.. Osaka kept flashing and changing colours Red, Blue, Green...even the handwritten words on the daily special at the door front changes colour.
Inside is so nicely decorated. There are private booths on both sides and open seatings in the middle. I can tell they put in al ot of money and thoughts in the interior decorations. There are also a lot of Japanese deco everywhere.
The menu have both Japanese and Korean items with emphasis more on Japanese with sushi, sashimi, ramen, udon.
We decided on Spicy Ramen with Pork ($7.95), Dragon Roll ($10.95) and Bibimb in a bowel ($10.95). For the free roll, salmon roll.
The salad and miso soup are quite standard. There are some banchan being served too.
Both sushi rolls are really nice and tasty, freshly made. The Bibimb has tons of fresh veggies inside, so colourfully presented. Though I would suggest the one served in hot pot since the rice is kind of cold. The BBQ pork in the ramen is really lean and tender, the noodles though not made inhouse but is not over cooked and still have that chewy bite.
The service is nice and friendly, feels like a little family runned place.
We were the only table on a Sunday night at 8 pm..and no other customers came in... Feel so sorry for them. Hopefully, their business will pick up soon.
They do have lunch specials from 11 - 3 for around $8, I would definitely be back to try those out!
They accepts Visa and Mastercard. -

Also one of the fans. Got to know the boss of the place as well. They allowed us to test out the different ramens and soup bases they're proposing.
The Monster Roll is awesome. So is the ramen.
One thing I don't understand is how their call waitress system works...I pulled the string down once, except it seemed like nothing happened. Oh well. I just wave them over usually. -

I came here for the first time on mother's day because I didn't think it would be busy, and would get a table without hassle. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience and the food a lot better than I had expected.
I got a ramen combo and the noodle was cooked al dente, the way I enjoy it.
Would definitely go back here again. -

One of the fan. Since they have new management, our family always go there. especially for their $5.95 lunch special and $3 uni special. Ramen is also good. The rice portion is fairlly small for guys but with the price, I don't complain. Amazing deal! Place is quiet and lots of private seating. I think the only comment is there's only one server, although the serving lady is very friendly and kind, she's the only person to serve and always be busy.
