My wife an I eat here two or three times a month. The food is excellent and most of the time the service is fast and friendly.
This location would get a full five star if they had a better entrance and better way to let people wait before being seated. Unlike the 102 Avenue location in Edmonton, once the restaurant is full there is no place to sit and wait for a table. -

First time to the Stony Plain location.
Our waitress was great, friendly and attentive. The food was ok.
I had the corn chile as a stater - very nice!
We love burgers, seems Original Joe's use like a "meatloaf/rissole" meat, full of spices and filling - not what we wilke or expected. I like 100% beef with just beef as the burger.........
Food quaity was very good, their fries were very nice.
Too many other good places locally to eat at to go back a second time..... -

Best place to eat in Stony Plain or Spruce Grove, but its getting popular so its hard to get a table sometimes. No Kids = Hell Ya! Great place to go for a drink or a full meal.

I've been here a couple times now, the service isn't always A+ but the food always is ! Last time me and my boyfriend went the service was awful. We sat waiting for drinks for so long (it was in the afternoon, she had like 3 tables) and then after she got our drink order and brought back our drinks she walked away before taking our food order ! So that tacked on another 10-15 minutes and FINALLY she got our order.. now normally I am acquainted with how long what types of food take to make.. aka you order baked wings, it'll be longer, baked cheese, longer.. anything baked really.. but nothing was baked ! Seriously ! A burger and a beef dip should take 10 minutes. 15 max. Our food took 30 mins. Now this hasn't always been the case here... But our waitress wasn't even around so I don't know what was going on in the kitchen so I guess they can have leeway. Regardless after a painful 30 minutes we received our MASSIVE portions with two sides each and we were ridiculously full. I couldn't believe how huge the beef dip was. Packed with a monstrous amount of beef in practically a foot long bun, we tag teamed it. (Yes I'm a pig I ate mine AND his, best date ever)
All in all, it was a good time minus it took 2 hours to eat at Original Joes. -

We go to Original Joe's a couple of times a month. It is not a family establishment (18 or over) so there is no howling kids. The food is fresh and actually, compared to other choices, can be actually healthy. There is a great atmosphere and usally great service. Out of the limited options in this area... Joes is a top 5 in my opinion.
