This is my second visit to this location. I met up with 3 other gal pals for a Sunday night gab fest. I was thrilled to find all the beers on special for $4.25.
My wino friends delighted in the $5.00 glasses of wine. We had to get out our reading glasses to make sure we were reading the prices correctly.
We devoured 2 orders of hummus with warm pita bread. They poured a little balsamic vinegar around the edge of the hummus which totally works. The soup of the day was a curry chicken. Three of us ordered that delicious soup and the 4th had the nachos. A huge mound of multi-colored chips with giant jalepeno slices, onions and black olives. The problem was not enough cheese and the shreds that were there were not all melted. It's funny how when you're so busy talking, you don't really notice the flaws until the end. It was not a huge deal, but the next time I order them, I'll be watching. The staff was super friendly and even helped us move to a better table. Lovely girls. It's a bright, clean space with some giant T.V. screens. Lots of free parking. Ellerslie road has quite a few good pubs and dining spots.
