so I bought their deal on Groupon, checked out their website, looked nice. Got there, had a little tour, steam room and showers were kind of dirty, really gross actually (I sat in the steam room for 5 min and could feel that the tiles were really gritty, like it has never been cleaned). Sauna is ok. They had posters of promos for marketing purposes up on the walls.
It's nice that it's a women only spa. I like how they're kinda quiet, there's free parking, and snack and water in a cup w/ your own name on it. Decor-wise, they could hire an interior decorator. One of the spa consultants tried to sell me a $800 package.. twice. Also, the door to the staff room is right beside the shower stalls, so it's not that private in the showers.
The massage I got was the Sodium Power Massage, basically my little philipino therapist used hot stones, so technically it's a hot stone massage. The heat was nice, other than that, it felt like an 8 year old rubbed my back. The massage itself did nothing for me. At least I didn't pay full price.
Also, the spa consultant made me pay tax before hand, never been asked to do that before as I always pay tax after so I can tip in the same transaction. But she said no. How very asian.
