This restaurant is located on the waterfront beside the pier and near the beach.

The most romantic part about this place is that a train literally goes by about ten feet away like you're literally on a green screen movie set. It's quite crazy. The trains don't use their horns during the night, however, they do during the day, that could possibly create a problem while dining there. Unless you don't mind a Mouthful and an Earful.

This place is a mom and pop restaurant, and I believe the only raw food place in White Rock. Because of this, they're also looking for volunteers in the kitchen. Can't afford hundreds of dollars to become a 'Raw Food Chef'? Why not become one for free (without the designation) while volunteering for a Raw Food Restaurant?

I was there on a weekend night and it was empty except for my friends, but White Rock 'closes early' so this makes sense. People are more apt at staying home then going out because of early closing times. This place opens at 11 am and closes at 7 pm (WED-SUN). Weekend nights are open later.

I had the Thai Wrap, and I wish I had more to say other than it was pretty good, but it wasn't mind blowing. I'm not even sure if it was Organic, as it didn't really taste like it.

The wrap was rather huge however, and the price was reasonable at eight dollars. It was a quick eat for sure. Quicker than eating most raw food.

The sauce that came with it, was okay, but it didn't seem to add an explosion of flavor, but a little bit of it.

I also ordered the BlueBerry Cheesecake and it definitely tasted different than other Raw restaurants... Some really liked it. But at the same time, as much as it was good, "it didn't explode" with flavor, which makes me think they aren't using Organic Ingredients, however they may be.

My friends raw pizza made Organic Lives one look like a joke... it was so damn big and looked incredible!

I don't remember hearing anyone scream, "Oh my god, this food is so amazing!!!" Like people seem to do at Gorilla Food or Organic Lives, but it's a good start up and either way, I think people should support and help it grow and become one of the best restaurants in the White Rock area. Because it will with time.

PS: Check them out on Facebook.

what an awesome place, the people that run the restaurant are simply the nicest people I've met.  I was welcomed warmly even though I was wearing my cycling outfit complete with helmet (which I took off before sitting down).  An amazing view, we arrived just past 1pm and watched as the fog lifted from the ocean with sailboats drifting past.

Whole food was super tasty, they got a rush so our smoothie order got lost, but they brought mine 'on the house'  it was called life blood - very nice indeed.  Oh and a 8 year old took me to my table, I was later joined by my family and this young lady entertained both my daughters for over an hour.........and didn't even charge me for babysitting!  can't wait to go back, will pick another nice sunny day and might just go with the smoothies.

PS our American cousins also met us and they used a 'groupon' which saved us some money which was nice.  And the roof top deck in the summer must be quite fantastic.

I got the ethicalDeal for Organic Connections Cafe in White Rock, for $30 worth of food for $15.

Organic Connections Cafe is mostly raw vegan, but they say vegetarian too probably because of a few exceptions. The atmosphere was quaint and home-like and I was lucky that there were some live musical acts to accompany the sunshine on the weekend I went. My boyfriend and I got there at an odd time of 3:30pm but by the time we left the place was full.

I started off with the Warm Red Quinoa Bowl ($12) with curried quinoa and a nice helping of steamed vegetables - just what I wanted after  a brunch full of carbs. Tons of kale, and a bit overspiced but I still liked it. My boyfriend got the Pizza and Salad ($15) which was a deconstructed pizza with a buckwheat & sunflower crust, tomato basil sauce that couldn't be seen, creamy cashew cheese, black olive tapenade, alfalfa, fresh tomato, and brazil nut parmesan. That would have been real tasty if not for the alfalfa sprouts. He considered this to be an appetizer.

Organic Connections also has a great selection of smoothie drinks and vegan desserts as well - if I hadn't been full off the curry bowl, I would have gotten one of the cheesecakes. For $7 I got the White Rock Sunset Smoothie made of house-made almond milk, banana, dates, and strawberries. Mmm mmm good.

We were lucky to have a great atmosphere at this place and although it took about 25 minutes to get our food, the beachside view couldn't be beat and the healthy food reminded me of why I became vegetarian. If not for the good deal I got, this review would have probably been 3 stars but for what we paid it was a great meal and experience.

Went here for our anniversary dinner as we have recently gone vegan and are hoping to go mostly raw.

When we went in it was a cute and homey little place.

There was live music and it was too loud when we got in.  But the waitress spoke to the band and got them to bring it down so we could have a conversation.

We ordered and other than it taking a while to get our food, since we were the only ones in there, the food was delicious.

We started by sharing a borscht.  Such fantastic flavours and the cashew cream was great.

My husband had the zughetti, great flavour and totally filling.

I had the sushi, it came with a nice dipping sauce but the roll itself could have used some more flavour.

We then finished with the blueberry cheesecake, yum, we got an extra piece to go.

Will we be back, you bet.  Will just have to remember to pay for enough parking, White Rock should really get rid of pay parking.

Organic Connections is a raw food restaurant right on the beach in White Rock (east beach).  The restaurant has a lovely homey feel with couches arm chairs, plants and bookshelves with healthy eating books. They are open 11am - 8pm with open mic  after 7 .
The menu is small but that seems appropriate for a raw restaurant.  We got there just after they opened at 11 am. We ordered Thai wrap,Zugetti, and spring slaw. to drink we had the green juice and lemon"cheesecake' for dessert.
The food was absolutely beautiful when it arrived so we immediately took photos LOL.
This was my first experience with a raw food restaurant but i can honesly say it everything was delicious. The thai wrap had a yummy spicy dipping sauce, the Zugetti was served with amazing wheat free crackers,  the spring slaw   was light and  fresh but the dressing tatsed only of citrus and not "coconut citrus' as advertised. The green juice was tasty but next time I'll try the blueberry bliss smoothy. The lemon cheesecake was creamy and smooth  and ver good although not as lemony as I like, I would still order it again.
Overall I really enjoyed this resaturant the one down fall was that our waitress seemed a little bored and not as attentive as I would've liked.
Great food great atmosphere, great location I will return.
