Review from Janine T.
I have very curly hair and have had more bad cuts/trims/fringe fiascoes that you can shake a stick at, but I have finally found a fab hairdresser here in Montreal: Mathieu. He is funny, can hold a conversation in either one of our official languages and he praises my curls and leaves me feeling like a princess. It's a bit on the pricey side and the scalp massage sucked, so I am not giving 5 stars, but Mathieu himself deserves 5 stars: best haircut cut of my life!

Review from M L.

Not worth its weight in gold.
When I told my hair dresser that I really liked my long naturally curly hair, he hacked it to almost my shoulders, gave me ugly bangs. In other words, my stylist is a butcher. My hair was healthy and beautiful, now I have an old lady hair style that not even my grandmother would be proud to sport. In my opinion this is not a fashion forward hair salon that listens their client or pays attention to their clients personal style. A complete disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this place even to my worst enemy. -
Review from Mrs M.
Booked an appointment with the owner, told recptionist I was a new client. I only needed a blowout for that day. It is also good for me to evaluate the salon and stylist.
I arrive. He is playing with his blackberry or iphone or whatever, the place is not swmaped. He says "I don't do just blowouts on new clients, I am so busy 24/7.
He was so busy I managed to get 2 appointments, I said if your staff doesn't know this that is not my problem, I told them I'm new and all I want is a blowout. I had to fight to get him to do the blowout. He was rude and offensive but I had an event and I needed the blowout or I would have left.
I've been with some hairstylists to the stars and never have I heard anyone treat a new client this way.
Talk about ego. He is too busy to bet bothered blowing out a new client's hair? Because unless he put his scissors to your hair he is doesn't know what to do? I've travelled around the world, had to have my hair "done" and never have I heard this. Who does this person think he is?
