Review from Matthew L.

As somebody who no longer eats any non-fish meats, I cannot judge a Mexican place by its Carne Asada, but only by its fish tacos or vegetarian options. This hole in the wall thankfully delivers for vegetarians, with not just one, but three delicious filling options for its tacos. The service is particularly friendly as well.
In order, this is how I rank Orale's vegetarian fillings.
1) Nopal - Cactus paddles, tomatoes, and chili
This is both simple and good. The chili adds spicy flavor and Orale simmers the cactus until it is nice and tender, but not soggy.
2) Rajas Con Crema - Poblano Chilis, Onions, corn, and cream
This is substantially richer than the cactus tacos. Any spice that the chilis would have is countered by the cream.
3) Beans - Black Beans and Crumpled Feta Cheese
Not as exciting, but the feta is a nice touch. Vegetarians need protein too, and Orale enables you to mix and match your taco fillings.
I just wish the space had better lighting and Hernande'z homemade tortillas.. -
Review from Dustin D.

Gave orale another shot, so not impressed. It's like a bad hernandez's. Both times I've gone, they were out of things we wanted (and with a smaller menu, thats kind of surprising). The flavouring was poor to mediocre, the meat was somehow dry and drenched at the same time (how you manage that, I dont know). I got another tamale and it was pretty sad. The only redeeming feature was the price was ok. I will not be back.
