Review from Sandra T.

This Once Upon A Child is a little different than the other ones I have experienced.
First of all, they sell a lot of new items i.e., Bumbo Seat, ERGO Baby Carriers, Robeez shoes, Baby Legs, My Breast Friend nursing pillow, etc. Even though these items are new, they are sold at a discount!!! I purchased my *NEW* Organic Ergo for only $119 and I did not have to sacrifice on colour - it was in the exact colour I wanted!
The prices on used clothing is a little on the higher side compared to other OUACs that I have visited. The selection of boy's clothing is disappointing and limited.
The store is a little small but you'll just have to come back often to find a steal. Found a very cute and very new looking pair of robeez shoes for my little guy for only $7.50 - what a steal :)
The staff is extremely friendly and approachable.
There is an abundance of free street parking.
Check it out!!!Listed in: Mommy Stuff

Hi Everyone,
I have purchased many things from different OUAC stores and I have been happy up until this point.
I am writing this review to caution you on buying expensive products from OUAC! Cloths and small toys that don't cost so much are great to buy, but don't buy the big ticket items, unless you have lots of money to throw out the window, which really why would we be buying things at OUAC!
I purchased a fisher price Luv You Zoo swing not even a month ago for $90.00. They have a return policy of 7 days with the receipt and tags still on the item, after that you are SOL. The motor on the swing broke and wouldn't move the swing. Everything else worked, the music and the mobile. I am sorry but $90.00 is a lot of money to spend to get less than a months use out of an item. The only unhelpful suggestion that the store gave me was to call the manufacturer to get a replacement part, which on the weekend with a newborn baby who is now used to sleeping in this swing, does not help!!!
While I know that this is a manufacturers problem, the unhelpfulness of the store owner with not even offering a store credit or another solution is really crappy customer service. -

Located on posh, uptown Toronto's Bayview Ave. this is not your average Once Upon A Child.
For anyone who has shopped at their other great locations, this one may appear the same from the outside but contains more expensive children's clothing and toys, than you would ever really find in a second hand store.
Sometimes you will find great designer and name brand names for baby and toddler clothing, at (I wouldn't say great) good prices, while other times, the prices seem a little over exaggerated than one would expect when shopping second hand! !
In addition to selling kids clothing and small books and toys, this locations accepts children's furniture, jolly jumpers, trikes, strollers and all sorts of cool big toys! -

A good place to check before making an expensive purchase on baby/children's items. I have purchased several toys and a bumbo here. You never know what you will find as stock varies day to day but it is always fun to look.

Heard good things about this store but wasn't overly impressed (perhaps as the other reviewer suggested, this location is different than the others.) Saw some details but other stuff was priced second hand the same as you would pay at a decent sale brand new. Sales people weren't particularly friendly either.
