2 reviews for Omnitsky Kosher Deli

Not fancy, or even very nice aesthetically, I still frequent this place for the Montreal smoked meat sandwich with spicy mustard on rye.
This small delicatessen is the real deal - the proprietor has been wearing a Yamaka every time I've been there. They've got lots of Kosher products, but I've only ever had the sandwich described above. Yum! It comes with a pickle and cole slaw for like $7.00. Packed high with delicious smoked meat and heated up perfectly by the cute but never-smiling girl behind the counter, the sandwich is worth it if you're in the area.
I'm around this part of town every week and usually stop in for a bite.
Thanks Omnitsky!
Every time I pass this deli I always see the sign about smoked meat sandwiches and hot dogs(regular and jumbo) and it makes my mouth water. I finally went in and ordered a smoked meat sandwich($7.95) and a jumbo dog($2.99). First off, the guy behind the deli counter was not the friendliest! I'm sorry if I don't know what kind of bread you serve or what kind of mustard you have. You get a choice between coleslaw or potato salad and a pickle with your sandwich. I chose the potato salad, which was very bland and made with TOO much egg and I received no pickle! The sandwich itself was ok, soft and warm, but nothing special. I got the jumbo dog with the works and the best part was the sauerkraut. Not worth the money in my opinion!
