Eh, pretty standard English Canadian and Quebecois diner fare. The only reason why I ate here was that it was close to the conference hotel and I needed to eat fast. The croque monsieur I ordered was not like any croque monsieurs that i've ever had. It got pretty soggy because of the tomato (yes, I was puzzled) and the cheese wasn't melted.
I would have given this 2*s, but the dishes my friends ordered (omelets) were pretty satisfactory and the home fries were pretty good. If you must eat here, stick to the really basic fare.
