While the store can get awfully busy and backed up during the change of seasons, particularly on weekends; everyone getting boots, sandals, running shoes, school shoes etc, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Weekdays however tend to be very quiet and you rarely will have to wait for a sales person to help you.
It would seem that there is a high volume of customers who shop here which means occasionally the size or style you are looking for is out of stock however the extremely helpful sales people will always go above and beyond to try and find what you're looking for or something comparable. They will even have shoes sent from one of their other stores if they have them and then call you when they've arrived.
When shopping for seasonal footwear I always make sure to come as early in the season as possible as sizes do often run out quickly. Sometimes when you need something mid-season they may not have it or you may get lucky but again it's mid season so if they've run out they've run out, not the end of the world.
I find the sales people to be very patient and helpful even on days when they do not get to stop for a second because the store is so busy. I like that customers are helped in order with the use of a sign up sheet unlike in other stores where you have to constantly try and capture a salesperson, this way pushier customers do not get served before those who are less forceful. Sure you may have to wait but once you get your salesperson they are yours one-on-one.
I believe they have also recently renovated which will hopefully mean more room on busy days and more stock but regardless I will always come here first before looking elsewhere because no where else will I receive this kind of one-on-one service even if I sometimes have to wait. The employees are extremely patient and great with my kids. -

Hands down the worst shoe shopping experience, ever.
Olly's is recommended by our kids private school. Each time we bring our kids in for fittings, they have not had a single shoe in stock.
Lousy Service. Our first visit there a few years back the guy working was cranking the music so loud I could barely hear.
I would send my kids to school barefootl before I shopped at Olly's again. -

This is a kids shoe store which used to be much better. About a year ago I'd given it 4 or 5 stars, but they stopped bringing better kids shoes and are becoming just ordinary. On the plus side, they have lots of things on sale so if you are looking for a good deal give them a visit for sure.
Service is a bit dicey sometimes, if there's a lot of people inside you'll have to put your name on the list and wait maybe 15-20 minutes, which is kind of annoying if you are shopping with your kid. -

Simply put: Olly Shoes is a bright, inviting and well-organized shoe-store for kids. Nanny Erin was impressed with the helpful and kid-friendly staff who were eager to please - and you won't need to worry about fighting to find a seat in the large space. There's more than enough room to browse and there are plenty of benches for you and your family to comfortably sit and try on an afternoon of shoes.
Olly carries a wide selection of popular kid shoes - you'll find pretty much anything you're looking for from party shoes to runners with standard brands like Converse, Geox and Crocs on the shelves, to ballet-wear (leotards and shoes), rain boots with matching jackets and umbrellas, right down to cheerful lunchboxes and backpacks.
Olly Shoes is open Monday to Friday 10 - 7, Saturday 10 - 6 and Sunday 11-6. http://www.ollyshoes.com
