Review from Shaun R.
London, ON
Read a sign when driving by that says voted #1 breakfast in London, not sure who's making that one up because it is no were close to the best breakfast in the city. The restaurant itself is very old looking and I can almost gaurentee that they haven't changed a thing inside since the day that they opened, the place looks old and run-down, I mean I understand the whole diner concept but wow this place is in need of some serious upgrades. The service is pretty average and nothing too amazingly fast, even for some bacon and eggs. The food was also nothing to write home about, the bacon was a little overcooked and over crispy, the homefries were very bland and tasted of the frozen variety, eggs were pretty good but I mean how do you screw that one up. Personally I thought that the prices were very expensive for what they were offering and the setting, I can undersand paying $10 a meal for breakfast if you have a nice new place and it actually looks like you put some money into it, but here is a whole other story. There are many other way better breakfast places in the city that I would rather go than here, so I'm doubting that I'll be back.
