I went in this morning asking for a tire balance, as the car as been feeling a bit odd since I put my winter tires on. They asked for some details and said that I shouldn't be seeing problems at the speeds I was. They took me for a drive around the block to check it out, and determined that it was just the rougher ride of a snow tire compared to my smoother all seasons and said that balancing would be a waste of my money.
He offered to check my air before I left, but otherwise sent me on my way without a bill to pay.
It seems stupid to get so excited about this, but having a shop turn you away from wasting your money even though they could have gotten away with it so easily is awesome.
I've also had them do a tire swap a year ago and they were quick and easy to deal with.
Small shop, good people. -

I purchased winter tires from here in October 2011. I booked an appointment to get the tires installed a week later. When i returned for my appointment, the tires were mounted on the rims i had selected and ready to put on my vehicle. I was amazed at how quick and efficient the entire process was. In March 2012 i went back to get the winter tires removed and the all-seasons put back on. Since i wasn't buying anything this time i thought they might make me wait or not provide great service but i was wrong. Within 20 mins they put the all-seasons back on and checked the tire pressure as well. I am very impressed with the exceptional service from OK Tires Burnaby Kingsway and have already recommended this location to family and friends.
