Review from Jennifer H.

I am always raving about the Odeon. No crowds, not a lot of teenagers, no arcade and no million dollar concession junk food stands with unorganized lines and the owner greets you for the ticket. Oh, sure it doesn't have the plush seats and the popcorn price is equally obscene, but they have all the movies that aren't filled with the usual Hollywood mindlessness.

Apparently I like the older theatres. Perhaps it's their convenient vicinity to my homestead. The staff can be quite humourous here in the fact that they always seem to cringe when I ask for butter on my popcorn and they seem afraid to inform me that it's extra $. I guess it is possible I look scary, but my conclusion is that a lot of people make a big deal. If you're already getting ripped off by buying theatre popcorn, what's another 60 cents? Theatre 5 is my favourite for viewing movies, seeing as it's the largest and has interesting seating options. Another plus is the Scene card they offer where you build points towards free movies and get a small discount at the concession. The Odeon is definitely a 3 1/2 for me, but as always I round up.
