I've yet to hit the sweet spot when it comes to Chinese food in this area, but I have to admit that Oceans serves up dishes comparable to some of the average Chinese food joints on Spadina downtown. I've been here for dining in and take out with the family, the food is good enough and they have a solid option of dishes to choose from.
I've only once walked around the aisles here and the supermarket section is most definitely well stocked up with anything Chinese related. And that's one of the main reasons this spot gets 4 stars over the 3 I was initially going to give it.
It's most definitely affordable and the quality you get in return could...let's just say could be worse. If you want a good spot for quick take out I'd go for Oceans, their buffet is average, actually tastier than the more prominent Mandarin (with far fewer options though) but more unhealthy too I believe.
Staff have been more quiet than friendly, but I'm not go ing to fault them for that.Listed in: The International April…

Ocean's Fresh Food Market is located inside Shoppers World Brampton. Shoppers World Brampton is a really sad Mall... but I am glad we are here at Ocean's instead of walking around the Mall.
Personally I think that Oceans is the best "Chinese" grocery store I have visited as yet. At this location, Ocean's had rebranded themselves as more than an Asian supermarket. Talking about selections!
You can find groceries from China, India, Middle East, Vietnam, Philippines, Mexico, Caribbean and more under one roof! There are a lot of fresh chilli and all different brands of hot sauce that makes me go WOW!
Just double check the expiry date before buying. Not good if the hot chocolate from Mexico still on the shelf with an expiry date of 06/2010!!Listed in: Yelp 30 Day Challenge November…
