On a sunny day, with Mt Baker's majesty right there, full view, & the marina boats languidly awaiting their skippers to set sail, there is nothing nicer than lunch or dinner at the Oak Bay Marina Restaurant. I've always had good food here...usually great service. Be forewarned, though, that they automatically set the tip, for large parties (8 or more, I believe)...caused a bit of a stir at a family reunion. I like their curved booths, where you sit a little higher than the tables, and the view is straight out...a good choice for that celebration moment, even if you're on your own, and the celebrators are in your memory.

This place is beautiful but filthy. The bathrooms has overflowing toilets for two days and were not cleaned once during that time. It was a mess! The showers are located in the bathrooms so were not accessable unless you were willing to walk through sewage. Indifferent staff, except at the gas dock. They were nice.
