I have to give a strong five to the two guys who helped me today at Oregon's Body Shop. Their names were Dave Boone (Collision Centre Manager) and Jeremy (sorry , I did not get your last name ).
I had to go there to get an estimate on fixing the door on my vehicle. Long story short, it was moved off the track and long longer shut, actually had one of the rollers break.
As you might know, it gives me strong pains in my stomach when I enter some where to ask for an estimate. I was expecting the worst!
However, to my great surprise, I happened to luck out with having David and Jeremy take the vehicle in to look at it. David said, no worries we have the part in stock and it should not take us long to put it on.
Well, I was game! However, this was not as easy as it looked, David and Jeremy had to become Rocket Scientist to be able to manoeuvre the part on (I bet GM did not know that in the Body Shop, they had such talent). Me, I was there watching, hoping no one would loose their fingers, I find these situations very stressful.
Through it all , these guys were calm and great. There was another gentleman who came in (a customer) who watched as well. He is a regular and spoke with David jokily. It was clear to me that the customers of this shop have full confidence in the expertise here.
Ok, my final was, the door fixed, all went well, all fingers intact, I did not stress too much and very appreciative of the quick work. And my Door works! Also, it did not break the bank, very important!

I took my car to this dealer today to get a few things looked at. I will have to say that overall, I was quite pleased with the service.
I wanted to get a semi-anual inspection of the entire car to ensure that no work needed to be done before my warranty ran out. The service rep told me she could book me in this morning and also suggested that I get an oil change. She would give me a good deal on both for $109.
I took the shuttle service to work and then got a call a few hours later. They told me my car would be ready and that the total due was $188. I questioned it and she said they didn't tell me that the oil was synthetic and that it would cost more. I fought it and told them they shouldn't have misrepresented themselves. Nobody told me that and I refused to pay for it. She took the extra charge off of my bill because of this.
The shuttle driver was really nice and got there fast. His driving made me a bit nervous, but at least I got there safely!
