Review from Courtney M.

I lived in this particular Dalhousie residence for 2 years and while the people and ambience were great (at the time, 18-20 year olds are easy to please) the facility itself did leave quite a lot to be desired.
This building is pretty old and as a result, a lot of upgrades are required. For one thing, even with the window completely shut, my 5th floor westerly facing room used to collect a little snowdrift on the inside of the window sill. At the time, this didn't bother me a whole lot but it did probably contribute to a series of colds that I had all throughout first year.
The entire building also seemed to suffer from a temperature problem as well. Laundry facilities were patchy at best. Don't even ask about the food. I lost weight in residence, put it that way.
Overall, OBH could probably due with an upgrade or two! I understand that the lower 4 floors are currently rented out to 'a health care industry partner.' Pretty cryptic... I feel for whoever has to live beneath 2 floors of first year university students.
