Review from Jennifer G.
Long Beach, CA
This hotel impressed me with its guest services, contemporary decor, and most of all - I LOVED the loft style room. It was closer to a bachelor/ette pad than a smelly old hotel room. The shower was Aaaa-mazing because it had one of those large rain type of shower heads. The bed was comfy and felt very, very clean!
There is a great chill spot on the other side of the lobby restaurant/bar called The Library. There wasn't much traffic here during my stay, but I liked the ambiance of a library with a pool table and plenty of seats, random books and board games for you to play. It was nice to have a Guinness in hand while I was doing some light reading for work.
I stayed here because I was attending a two-day seminar that was being held in this hotel, and the room rates were pretty good (group rates). I will say that the meeting space was a bit cramped. We had roughly 20 people in one room, and because I was seated next to a pillar in the wall, I constantly had to scoot my seat in or stand up to let people pass by.
The food provided by the hotel was probably the best food I've ever been served while attending a seminar! It was gourmet, flavorful, and the dessert selection had something for everyone. The hotel's head chef even came in to do a food network type of demo and taught us how to make tuna tataki salads. He went beyond the demo by giving us his very own sushi cheat sheet that had terms, recipes, and Japanese phrases. A random intermission, but it made dinner fun that night.
The only thing I found weird about this hotel - aside from the GUN warning in front of the restaurant/bar - was the lack of toilet seat covers in the lobby restroom. Isn't that standard? Oh well ... Good thing I know how to squat!
I did like that there was an In N Out, Smashburger and Five Guys within walking distance though, haha! What can I say, I'm a foodie! I would definitely stay here again, should I ever find myself in the lone star state for some reason. -

Came to stay here on a business trip.
WOW. I was pleasantly surprised at this establishment. Granted, its kind of in the middle-of-nowhere but it has everything you would want on a business trip. Staff is courteous and professional, bartenders and cocktail waitresses are lively (Ricky / Chris), and rooms are spectacular.
First impressions of the room: IKEA with concrete walls. Yes this hotel is very modern, but the setup is very efficient for its size and there is everything you would need. Overhead showers, good lighting, and an amazingly comfortable bed to sleep in. There are heated pools, bars, lounges, and cabanas outside and a ballroom and pool tables inside. There is a solid variety of food however it is a bit pricey and isn't exactly the best but still solid. There is an In-N-Out, Five Guys, and other eating establishments in walking distance.
I had a great stay here and was able to meet some amazing people. The staff again is amazing and very interactive, loved that they have stories and lives outside of work. -

We took our first look wedding photos here for a very low price of $150 compared to other locations known as photography destinations who charge $250+ or require city permits. Also, we stayed the night before and night of our wedding, a Friday and Saturday, for a very low price of $99/night. Great place! See pictures section for examples of the type of wedding/engagement photography that can be done here.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel.. I've stayed here a couple times and there isn't another hotel like it.. The decor is amazing, the staff is awesome, and the rooms are comfy and just neat to stay in. I love the industrial feel.

I flew in to visit, was looking around the internet for a new place for us to stay other then the 4 star hotels out there. He came across NYLO and decided to book a room for the night! What a surprise when we walked in, such a swanky lobby area, we thought we were in Los Angeles or New York - very chic, and the decor is off the chain. Very very hip (remember these are loft style rooms, so those that don't like the bathroom area, well it's a loft, hello)! The rooms are equally as swanky and beautiful, the design is so impressive! I loved the place! We have decided that each time I come back into TX, this is our place to stay! Thank you for everything, from the customer service to the swanky rooms, I give it a 5 out of 5!

This place is really nice. I love the decor, the staff is nice and the appetizers and food are great. Each time I"ve gone here it has been for a private party or happy hour and always on someone else's dime so I've always been able to indulge and I love it. The outside area by the pool is nice too :)

I really like this contemporary hotel. I travel a lot so for me to give 4 stars is pretty impressive. The decor is very contemporary but still feels livable (not like some areas that are contemporary but so stark or sleek that is doesn't seem as if you can sit on anything without sliding off!). Staff was nice and rooms were good. Not that big but decent but the decor and details made up for the size. What''s awesome is there are no crazy hidden fees for wifi or anything and they even leave FREE bottles of water in your room. I totally recommend it when staying in the Dallas area...
