When people think of organic clothing images of itchy-scratchy cotton panties and burlap sacks pop up. But the eco-fashion industry has undergone a revolution and today's organic apparel is some of the hippest, trendiest and most comfortable clothing around. I visited this Victoria shop and bought outfits that quickly became my favourite to wear, namely because they were so comfortable. Organic clothing, which can be made from bamboo, cotton, help, corn or soy, feels like a second skin. It doesn't irritate or scratch; it's entirely natural. The prices are no more expensive than your typical boutique or streetwear shop. Cool brand names are Thieves, Twigg & Hottie, Myco Anna and Stewart Brown, which are all Canadian but for Stewart Brown, which comes from California. Whether you have allergies to certain materials or you choose to embrace social and environmental causes related to organic producers, this is a great place to shop for style, comfort and a sustainable world.
