When I was planning my wedding, I took one look at this restaurant and was sold. It's stunning inside with its sloped ceiling and so-very-West-Coast wood beams and river rock details. The patio is huge: it wraps around the restaurant and offers views of the sloping golf course, trees, and a waterfall.

The menu is fairly straightforward, with pub food and appies, and then your pastas and meat and seasonal veggies for entrees. There's a nice selection of wines from BC, California, and Australia, plus beer on tap, cocktails - the works, you know?

Whether or not you play golf, if you're out by Mount Seymour, hiking or snowboarding as the season may dicate, you could do a lot worse for a suburban watering hole.

Oh, and they did a fantastic job with our wedding.

Came here this past Sunday and although the view was beautiful, the food left something to be desired.

I understand that it is a bar and grill, but with so many other bars now offering healthier options--I thought they would have as well.

However, the entire menu seemed to be unhealthy (nachos, burgers, etc.) and only a couple of items seemed reasonable (mostly salads).

I ordered the crab cakes and was surprised when it came with a small side salad as well!  The crab cakes were OK.  They were crispy on the outside and light on the inside.  I do wish there had been more spices and chopped vegetables mixed in with the crab, since they were slightly bland.  The crab also did not seem to be very fresh.

The salad was pretty good though.  Nice light dressing, walnuts, and feta cheese.

I also tasted the quesadillas.  I found them bland and definitely needing salt.  Other than that, they were packed with meat, corn, and green peppers.  The quesadillas came with a side of fries and the fries seemed to have been made in-house and were crispy, fresh, and delicious!

All in all, I would go back and try different menu items--especially since the view and patio were spectacular!
