Visited the Northern Lights Wildlife Center in the beginning of January 2010 with the old lady. The trip out there was a little far and unexpectedly unkempt. We finally got to the center and it was pretty cool. Nothing good about seeing an animal that's naturally seen in the wild behind 15' cyclone fences, but it is what it is. The lady who operates the center is strongly opinionated and somehow injects political rants when giving a informative speech about the gray wolf, which was a little too extreme for my taste.
Bottom line, we had a good time, they know their shit, and it was crazy to see a wolf staring me in the eye. Those things are beautifully intimidating.
