I consider myself a pretty with it kind of guy. I've lived in the Big Smoke for 5 years and I rarely find myself uncomfortable or shocked. I walked into North Bound Leather thinking that it was a store that sold leather jackets and pants or maybe a thong or two. What I was given was leather straight jackets, hoods and masks that both shut out sound and light. They also have electrical diodes that some people (although I honestly can't imagine who) attach to their bodies for gratification. There were swings and whips and things that I have already blocked out of my memory. Now you may be reading this and thinking, oh he's just being a pansy I know all about S & M and it's not that big of a deal. All I can say is that it's different when some one in a leather bustier asks you if you need any help and you can't help but want return the question. I felt dirty walking out of this store and I hadn't even known what I was getting into. If you are someone who partakes in this particular hobby then this is the place for you. I don't know a better place in the city to get this sort of unique paraphernalia. If you are one of the more tame sort, maybe this is a good place to see what your missing, but if you're like me I'd go to see what it's about and then spend the next two hours scrubbing in the shower.
