Best customer service experience I've had in Vancouver! Last time I was shopping for a mountain bike I literally visited every bike shop on the North Shore (there are a lot!) and some in other parts of town. I liked the bikes at a few places, and got some decent helpful service, but I mostly encountered scary price tags and condescending attitudes from the shops. North Shore Bike Shop really stood out - the service was extremely friendly and helpful and the selection/prices were great. The owner, Matt, is super helpful to every customer that walks in the door. This is whether they are spending $500 or $5000 on a bike, whether it's their first bike or they are a pro buying their 15th downhill bike. This was certainly not my experience at most shops!
I wasn't spending much at Matt's shop, but he spent a lot of time helping me select parts, assembled my bike quickly, custom fitting it for me, and has stood behind his work. I've sent several bike shopping friends his way and they've all been equally impressed.
