When I first arrived with a few friends I was quite surprised to find a bar on Elgin Street so quiet on a Saturday. Within about an hour the place filled up and the dance floor was packed.
I gather it's a lot of the same people who hit this place up week after week as they all seemed to arrive at the same time and a lot of people knew each other.
Cover at the door wasn't ridiculous but for what this place has to offer -- a relatively small corner dance floor it didn't seem worth it.
There's a big patio/smoking section which looks over Elgin Street but it's too bad that area can't be incorporated into the bar to provide another bar or a more interesting dance area.
There may not be many dance options on Elgin Street but there are certainly better ones in the Market which is worth the short cab ride or even a longer walk.
