Found this place courtesy of yelp/tripadvisor when planning a skiing getaway to whistler.  I have to say that we were not disappointed whatsoever.  We booked a studio lake view room which was more than enough space for the 2 of us.  It came with a nice gas fireplace and had a large bed and a pullout couch.  The only downsides (minor) were no safe in the room (there was one at the desk) and a lack of drawer space.

The restaurant was undergoing to a transformation for passover while we were there so we were given free breakfast at the coffee shop which was a nice touch and helped start out day.

As for the location, it is as advertised a 10 min walk to the gondola, but they offer free ski lockers across the street from the gondola which are quite convenient.  While it is not ski-in (seems to be more of a US thing), it is far from inconvenient.  We never used the shuttle as we chose to drive in at night for convenience (parking in village lots free at night).

Finally, the service was excellent.  The staff was always quick to help and offer suggestions.  All in all this was a great choice for a ski lodge in whistler.

    Amazing Customer Service!.
The staff alone will draw us back for any future occasions.
They are happy to help coordinate events and outings, and even anticipated our needs before we knew what we wanted. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The shuttle service is nearly door to door with great staff - very helpful and informative. Thank you everyone for a great stay! We will be back!

Nita Lake Lodge is a luxury hotel in a picturesque setting in Creekside. Our one-bedroom was beautifully-appointed with a gas fireplace, porch and view of the lake. The bathtub was phenom - a lovely huge soaking tub. The staff is quite friendly and there is a hotel Suburban that you can reserve to take you anywhere in the valley.

The lodge has three places to dine - the cafe (open until 4pm), Cure Lounge (the bar area) and Aura (a very expensive restaurant that was empty during most of our 5 night stay).

The main drawbacks are the lack of signage to find the gym, spa, ice machine, and other relevant amenities that are tucked away in odd places (the spa and ice are on the second floor). Many of the doors are locked throughout the hotel (both inside and from the outside) and our room keys wouldn't allow us to get in, which is kind of an inconvenience given the size of the place. The jacuzzi/hot tub area leaves a bit to be desired - one tub desperately needed to be cleaned and both tubs could've been bigger and more subtly lit from above. When in the spa area (where the hot tubs are located), we asked the desk staff if they had any water available and they directed us to the water fountain. We discovered that one of the rooms in the spa has a huge vat of delicious cucumber water - and we found it odd that they withheld that info from us, especially since we were hotel guests.

The lodge is a bit of a walk (two blocks down and across Rt 99) to get to Creekside but the hotel shuttle will take you there if you don't want to walk it. But overall, we had a very nice stay with just a few minor critiques that could easily be addressed!

Nita Lake is by far my favourite hotel in the Whistler area. I've had the chance to stay a few times over the last couple years and it always exceeds my expectations. The Land Rover village shuttle and the beautiful (and enormous) rooms are highlights, and in the summer they even have free bikes that you can book at the front desk to ride around the great trails on.

We had massages at the spa on our last stay as well. Mine was fantastic, but my partner's was not very good. We mentioned it to the front desk just to let them know, and they surprised us by going way over and above to make it right. I was thoroughly impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the hotel and the spa.

My family has stayed here twice, both times in the winter, and it's been fabulous. Not only is the lake view gorgeous, but the rooms are amazing (especially the bathrooms). Free coffee in the kitchenette was much appreciated every morning. To top it off, we got a little Christmas stocking full of tasty goodies! My family doesn't celebrate Christmas, but it was a sweet gesture anyway. Plus, cookies and Grand Marnier are universal.

The Creekside gondola is in walking distance, and there's a shuttle to Whistler Village.

My one qualm is that they seem to have a little trouble keeping both hot tubs working at the same time. But that's minor.

This is such a beautiful lodge.  And the location was perfect for those who want to have just a bit of privacy from the center of whistler.

Staff was great, breakfast was so good, view was amazing, and i would go back in an instant.

If you go during the warm times of year, do yourself a favor and upgrade to a lake side room with patio...there is nothing like sipping on the beverage of your choice with your lovely significant other while over looking the lake during sunset.

Attention to detail is what makes this hotel special.  The staff members at the desk are more than willing to carry your bags or give you pointers on where to eat.

There are games and DVDs available for check out, but seriously, why would you do that ?  You're in Whistler--go outside and enjoy life.

We had a room in the 100's section, adjacent to the lake.  We had a large jacuzzi tub, roomy shower and a heated floor.  Awesome amenities especially in the colder times of the year.  There's also a fireplace in the room.  The high ceilings made the room feel like home.

Free Wi-Fi is a plus.  If you stay here, you'll have to search out the "Aquarium channel" on their cable/dish network.   A nice thing to have if you are trying to keep young kids entertained.  I was!

Lastly, buy yourself a good bottle of wine and enjoy it on the patio as you watch the sun go down.

Wonderful place to get away! Nita Lake Lodge is a beautiful lodge perched on a lake, set away from the rest of busy Whistler. The room was very spacious and luxurious, featuring all the amenities I would expect in a 5 star hotel. The soaking tub is heavenly. The property also has a pool, spa, games room, fitness center, restaurants, and a beautiful lake to stroll in the morning. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with lots of attention to detail. Excellent! We are definitely coming back!

I love this place. We were up for a corporate retreat. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, as big as some apartments in Vancouver ;)

I had a lake view and it was so nice to wake up in the morning and stand out on the deck (!!) The room was clean and I love that there was an armoire where it had your french press, coffee, utensils, a corkscrew which is very important and a few dishes.

I had no problem with the hotel service at all, they were all pretty great and accommodating to all of us. I would go back in a heart beat.

I was very excited to take my boyfriend away for a weekend celebration. After reading a cool article in Vitamin Daily Nita Lake Lodge seemed like a really cool hotel to call home base while we wined and dined ourselves silly in Whistler.

First impressions were great, the decor and atmosphere are beautiful. The service on the other hand was HORRIBLE! Not only did they not clean our room....even after we called the reception desk THREE times. The toilet didn't work and we had to ask them TWICE to come fix it and it didn't get down until 11pm one of the nights we stayed there?

To give a little bit of context my boyfriend had just returned from a two-week business trip through Africa. So it's not like we're snobby travellers or expect the world, just what we pay for. After bringing up the issue to the desk staff and filling out a lengthy feedback form upon check out I was told someone would follow up with me about my stay. No discount or perk was offered at that time for the hassle but I thought they'll be in touch so I'm sure it will work itself out. Nope not even close. It's been over a month and no a single person from the hotel has contacted me even to apologize.

For what they're charging you're better off staying at another hotel in Whistler. It may be a beautiful hotel, but if I can't get the basics like my bed made or fresh towels I'd rather not stay there. Cmon even the Days Inn can get that right.

Love this hotel!  The staff was very helpful in all areas that we asked for assistance. Free bike usage was great too!

Beautiful view...can't beat it. Quiet area and very relaxing to sit on balcony and enjoy the scenery. Wish I was there now!

My first stay here - group of 3.  I purchased a deal off of http://SniqueAway.com

The rooms were quite spacious.  Definitely enough for 3.  It's a loft type of space (upper and lower level) where rooms are not necessarily enclosed but sectioned off to give visual privacy ;)  Has a small, hidden kitchenette.  I love that the bathrooms are VERY roomy.  High ceiling helps to enhance the space also.  Lots of storage space as well.  Fireplace (to help dry my snowboarding attire).  What a nice view we had!  Free internet available at the 2 computers in the main lobby (free WiFi in the main lobby)

The staff was super friendly and customer service oriented.  They were helpful with questions, suggestions, booking activities... the entire enchilada.  They even offer to leave your snowboard/skis at the front desk to prevent wet trails and less lugging to the room

They offer on-demand-shuttle (6-passengers Land Rover) and it was AWESOME!  Even the drivers were friendly and helpful!  We lucked out because our stay was Sun-Tues so the shuttle was always available to us.  At times, a 15-20 minutes wait but that allowed us time to walk around Whistler Village.  Many times we got the same driver and he would totally wait for us if we were running late.

The regular rates can be steep.  My deal was awesome and I certainly got more than what I paid for.  I rate my lodging stay by price I paid, comfort, customer service and amenities.  The overall stay was definitely 2-thumbs-up!

I stayed for the weekend and upgraded my room to the lake view. I must say I was a little disappointed with the view. That being said the room was clean,  and very spacious. The bathroom espcially was very nice. The service friendly and I will definately return next time I am in Whistler.

I recently had my wedding at Nita Lake Lodge. My fiancee (at the time) and I stayed in the hotel, as did many of our friends and family. The hotel staff was very good throughout the entire weekend.

The reception was amazing, service was excellent, and I would highly recommend this as a reception venue (it is a beautiful hotel). We did have a bit of trouble with the sound system, so I recommend anyone having a wedding there doing a soundcheck the day before.

The food, at the reception and at some other dinners, was fantastic. I'm not sure what they do to the chicken there, but it is amazing.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and provide a mix of modern and contemporary (and if you are lucky you'll get a view over the lake).

There are also two hot tubs raised up on the roof of the building, which provide a nice view of whistler mountain.

Check out Nita lake Lodge.  I highly recommend it.

One of the most relaxing and accommodating hotels I've stayed at. Te shuttle service and in room fireplaces are great. Heated bathroom floors, giant Bathroom for a hotel. The spa had just reoponed the weekend we stayed and it was very nice. Watched snowfall while getting a hot rocks message. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Nita Lake Lodge during our honeymoon in 2010.  We absolutely loved it!  The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (aside from one woman at the front desk) . We had a lakeview studio that was really beautiful.  The food there was very good, although a little pricey (which is to be expected at a Whistler resort).  They offer a free shuttle service into Whistler village- more like a personal driver who will drop you off and pick you up wherever you are.  The driver, Glen, was great!  Extremely friendly and gave us a little tour of the area.  The setting is lovely and the hotel has free bike rentals for 3 hours.  It was really nice not to stay right in Whistler Village- staying in Creekside was very peaceful, but you could still walking distance to some good food.  The BBQ place next door and the pizza place down the road were great.
