Guess they improved their customer service, after reading that review!  Tea was regulary topped up, and extra napkins were fulfilled w/ no attitude...

The dragon roll was good but the Ebi Gyoza even better, pleasantly surprised! was told they made it fresh, lots of stuff & would rival a Gyoza King, imho.  The owners are chinese but the sushi chef may be Japanese or Korean, just for those inquiring minds...

Was busy for a thurs nite, several takeouts when i was there just for 45min...

Too pricy. The food was way too salty. Chiken Teriyaki had too much sauce and I felt like I was eating at the Chinese reasturant. I would never go there again.

If you want quality and authentic (by that I mean, Japanese owned and operated), this is the place to be. I was practically raised here - have been going to this place for more than 10 years, and everything is still the same except for some of the more expensive, quality items like wild sockeye salmon and red tuna.

If you've got four people, order the Love Boat...I believe its around the mid$40s but it comes with a sashimi and sushi platter to start, two miso soups, two sunomonos...AND you get two ice cream desserts.

Order the Love Boat alongside some extra rolls and you'll leave happy and full.

I'm crying a little bit as I write this review. This was turning out to be my go-to sushi spot in my neighborhood until today when I realized they changed ownership. And along with change, came hygenic issues. Why did I have to find bodily hairs smashed into the rice of my maki rolls? Do you know how incredibly unappetizing it is to find a long piece of hair in your sushi and then look over at the sushi bar to find a man with long flowy hair rolling them up? I sent it back, nicely, and they simply replaced it with a new one.. There were no apologies. No complimentary anything. Then, the waitress was no where to be found the entire meal so I sat there, needing more wasabi, ginger, katsu sauce, tea.. literally everything on my table needed a refill and it never came. Why oh why did you have to take such a huge turn for the worse? I'm disappointed, Nishiki.

Some of the freshest, tastiest, simplest and friendliest sushi Ive ever had. During a recent visit, I ate here multiple times because it was so quality, without any pretense, and didn't need any Kimonos or maps of Japan adorning the walls to try to convince you of how Japanese they are. It is, and they know their raw fishes. Great service and great food, I could eat here several times a week (if I lived in West Vancouver) (Which I sort of with I did).
