I thought this place was called Tasty Supermarket. Been coming here since I moved into the hood back in 2009. It is the best place to buy fruits & veggies in the hood hands down.  Jade and Logan have the best signs.  Very cheap prices for high quality, high-turnaround freshest produce in the area. Please read my review on Tasty Supermarket - as I thought this was the name of Nine Ten!

I love this little shop. Local veggies at reasonable prices and good deals on Rabbit Farm eggs - they always need extra egg cartons if you have any! Friendly  and helpful owners - got a new recipe idea today! 3 huge bunches of Italian parsley $1 , 3 lemons $1, tabbouleh it is then!

Now I don't know if I would call this a SUPER-market really, it's more like a large convenience store. BUT having said that, each time I come in here, I find a deal on something that's hard to get a deal on like Almond Breeze. 2 bucks each? That's a first. East West had it on for 2 for 5 once.

Also found, Tinkiata non gluten Pastas as well as all the usual wheaty breads and cookies and cans of soups and detergents and most other necessities.
    Nice owner too.
    As for the name.
    They're open 9am-10pm. (chortle)

I really like this little market.  LOTS of fresh, tasty local produce (often at the best prices in the neighbourhood).  There's a lot of food (fresh and shelf stable) packed into this little place.  My *favourite* thing is the eggs that you can purchase by the flat of 30.  They are from a local farm, and they are unsorted (all different sizes), but they are *excellent*.

Honestly, my only grievance is that they haven't figured out a good way to store their potatoes.  Everything else is usually fresh and nice, but the potatoes always seem green.
