I have recently learned that the previous restaurant that was at Niakwa has been trying to sabotage Amici at Niakwa. It is very unfortunate that Provence bistro got the boot last year . . But clearly Niakwa didn't think they were suitable there. Shawn Brandson has been altering the website for Niakwa to say that " if you go to this website it may cause harm to your computer".. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Amici at Niakwa is an amazing place to host all your caterings, weddings and banquets. Chef Gord Harris is a genius when it comes to making your experience incredible! The team he has working with him will awe you as well. If you have any questions I suggest e-mailing them yourself or just be old fashioned and pick up the telephone and give them a call! You won't be disappointed.

I am in the process of planning my wedding and Niakwa is one of the places I considered. I must say that I was very impressed by the level of service. Before putting down any kind of down payment on the date, Trevor, the banquet manager was absolutely awesome!
When we arrived for our appointment and tour of the place, he had a folder of information ready for us. He made suggestions and offered to customize a meal plan. The place was very pretty and located in a great part of the city.
In the end we did not book at Niakwa because there was a minimum of 160 guests that had to be invited. Our wedding will be much smaller, at about 120 guests, so we didn't think having a host bar to make up for the lack of guests would be suitable for us.
