Visited this place to "waste time" between scheduled attractions. Well it was interesting the movie was "blah" BUT THE DAREDEVIL attraction and museum was very interesting reading about all of the people WHO tried to conquer the falls...

The MOVIE was boring and quite OLD. IT should have been better with all of the $$$ pouring into The falls.... the history was so-so.... however I did learn the the word Niagara means... Thundering Waters!

Don't waste your money.  Too expensive, and the movies are pretty boring.  In fact, I dozed off - twice.  Spend your money at the Ripley's Museum.  That's fun....and you'll probably stay awake ;)

We enjoyed the IMAX Falls Movie Legends and Daredevils, but it definitely could use some updating.  Apparently it's the very same movie that has been playing there for YEARS.  It was enjoyable, but not as "thrilling and entertaining" as they advertise.

The theatre was nice and clean with lots of room for us to choose from.    We picked up a medium bag of popcorn and large soda from their snack shop before going in and paid approximately $7.00 in US money, which is a good deal in comparison to what we pay here in Hawaii at the theaters.

After the movie you walk to their gift shop through their daredevil gallery where you will see real artifacts and vessels used by some of the daredevils.  Some of the contraptions were pretty cool to look at and in.  Then you end up in their National Geographic Store, which sells some interesting educational kid's toys and games, books, postcards, and Canadian candy.  Cute shop.  We picked up a couple of "omiyage" gifts from here then headed back to our hotel.

I recommend everyone to at least experience this theatre once.  It was all pretty interesting.

Although the theater was nice and the indoors were a welcome respite during a rainstorm, the movie that was showing was terribly bad.  I found myself laughing aloud at the poor acting, script writing and general non-linear format of the film.  Most importantly, there was little to no educational background about the Falls and left me Wikipedia-ing all the information that is seemingly relevant.

Spend your money on something else at the falls.

We got up early so we could go to the first show at 10 am. We arrived at the theatre and the box office was closed with a sign directing us to the candy counter. There were two lines at the counter with no indication which line sold the tickets. Of course we were in the wrong line and had to line up again. Once we got to the head of the line we were told that the first film of the day (10 am) was in Japanese. We saw no indication of this on-line. Fed up, we asked to speak with the manager but got the director. The director appeared with a screen print from their web site showing that the 10 am show was in Japanese. Unfortunately we saw the show times on Google which made no mention of it. Additionally the director told us that we could have been offered headphones with the English version but that the sound in the theatre was so loud that we wouldn't hear it very well.
I can't imagine that we're the first tourists to encounter this problem with erroneous information on-line. Why hasn't the manager or director corrected it?
After reading other reviews I guess we got off lucky not having spent any money on this attraction.
