I give them 5 stars for piercing. If you are going to get pierced, go to next! It's more expensive, but you can trust that you will be in good hands.
I have gotten two industrials and my bellybutton pierced twice here. The staff were always friendly, patient and calm. They all healed nicely as well and I've never had any sort of infection.
They give you the best information on piercing and after-care. Go here! -

I've gotten a couple piercings over the years, some of which have since been taken out. I got my nipple and my tongue pierced here, the staff were great and explained the entire process to me in a way that made me feel a lot more relaxed about the whole needle through my nipple thing.
Based on my experiences with other piercings salons I have to say that next was by far the best in terms of a "years later" perspective. I felt it was time to take my jewelry out after many expensive dental bills and a yearning for my nipple of yesterday. They both healed with no problems, quickly and without experiences of rejection or infection.
I was an idiot to get my belly button pierced at a leather shop on granville that is now closed, you all probably know the place and yes I'm well aware of how dumb that was of me to do. I had multiple infections that thankfully healed, but the hole in my navel has never gone away. I'd had my ring out for 2 years and there was no difference in the piercing, to this day I can still put in jewelry with ease. It sucks.
I wish I had gone to Next for ALL of my piercings, because they seem to be the only place that has given me a good experience from start to years after leaving the salon. -

So I have a split earlobe on my right ear. I have to get surgery eventually.. In the meantime I decided to modify it a bit and I got a trans lobe piercing. My lobe is still split, but at least it looks cool with a bar through it!
The piercer Jacob was so gentle & kept asking me if I was okay. He was great. I highly recommend him for your piercing needs.. This piercing didn't hurt that much, but it hurt more than the navel, odd! -

Got my nostril re-pierced here in December 2006 on a business trip. Haha, sounds funny...but yes, it's true. Anyway, the shop is extremely clean and the employees are very professional. My piercer, a young man, had great bedside manner and was a wealth of knowledge in regards to piercings. The piercing itself was quick and MUCH less painful than the first time I had it done.
I did have to wait about 1.5 hours to get in, but that's my fault for coming on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. I highly suggest making an appointment.
The only negative thing about Next! is the jewelry they used. The post was very thick, not allowing for it to be bent to better fit your nose once the swelling is gone. I had to buy a new stud for it once it healed, instead of altering it.Listed in: Van-coooo-ver, EH?

I've been here a few times now, and the service has always been great!
It's awesome because, if you're getting something pierced, these guys take the time to explain the process, how your body may react, how the tools are sterilized, and they answer any other questions you may have! They make sure that before they do anything, that you are confident in them and what you are getting done. And before they pierce your body, they give you a little bit of lavender on some cotton to calm your nerves, and does it ever work!!
If you're getting a tattoo here, its BEST to make an appointment, otherwise you may end up waiting for hours. But once you're in, these guys are the epitome of professional. They draw whatever you want, make sure its perfect, stick it on where you would be getting the tattoo to make sure that you are completely positive with your decision.
They're also amazing for retouching or changing the ring of your piercing. The customer service here is commendable! I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone!! -

The tattoo I got there this weekend was the longest sitting I've ever had and man, was it ever a pleasant experience. Go to next for a clean environment and a bunch of talent. My fave tattoo ever!

Not bad at all. I got my navel pierced here, loved the atmosphere. My one complaint would be I was told the piecing was $30, but it turned out the jewelry was $50! So it ended up being over $80 and I had to borrow money from my boyfriend. However, once I got in the piercer was friendly, explained everything. Even gave me some aroma therapy to relax. He went through all the aftercare even though I knew it all. He tried to sell me some overpriced piercing solution as they often do, but I wont hold that against him. The staff was friendly. They where happy to replace my nose piece when an incompetent piercer at another shop was not.

Got most of my piercings done here and very good service every time. Jacob and Judy are really good, so if you decide to pay a visit, be sure to ask for them! Despite the dark and gothic scenery inside, this place is very clean and professional. The only thing is that the prices are a bit high (paid almost $80 for a pair of normal ear piercings including the rings).
