This is an authentic Indian place to get your eyebrows threaded where Indian women are talking over your head in different dialects while threading your eyebrows. Don't come here if you're looking for luxury and pampering - this is an efficient, straight-to-the-point no small talk kind of place. They don't ask you how you want your eyebrows done - they just do it. So if you have any concerns (thin brows, thick brows, brow arch, etc.) speak up or they'll thread your eyebrows to their best judgement. If you see small hairs left that they have missed, feel free to let them know.
Price is wonderful, $5 no tax - worth going out of my way for! Free parking on side streets. Closed on Tuesday (kind of random). -

Ever since I had my eyebrows threaded at BBB, I really enjoyed having my brows threaded! My friend recommended me to go to this place since it was relatively inexpensive.
I decided to check it out since she was raving how inexpensive and how great it was to get my brows done there. I don't think I will be coming back here again.
I have visited this place 3 times and each time has not made me happy.
First time I went, I told them what I wanted. The lady that I had gave me great shape but it was too thin. I asked for her to make the brows even and make it not too thin.
The second time I went, it was worse. The lady made one of my brows too thin and bald through the middle and said that my eyebrows are weird. She said it would grow back. Ughh... Had to draw in my brows 2 months straight to make myself look decent. Mind you I had Christmas and NYE and she had to screw it up then.
Third time, I went with a friend. This time I mentioned what I wanted and said that one of the ladies screwed up my eyebrows. She was better than the second time I went as she was careful at maintaining the shape and trying to fix the shape on my screwed up brow. The end result? One brow is slightly thinner than the other. The same thing with my friend. Both our left brows are thinner than the right.
Sometimes I do find myself fixing my brows after I get it done. I shouldn't be doing that!
The only thing I will come back here for is for upper lip. There is no way in hell you can screw that up. -

You want beautiful brows?... Go here: perfect thickness, arch, and trim. All for $5? Forget about benefit brow bar, anastasia in NYC, and pretty much anywhere else. This place is: THE. BEST.
fyi: it's bare bones, you have to wait around a bit, and the women chat to each other while working, but the results are still fantastic.Listed in: Beast to Beauty

Not too impressed with the service or the quality of the eyebrow threading.
I felt the lady who was doing my eyebrows was in a rush, even though there was no one else in the salon. The thread snapped twice, once on each brow to which she tutted and sighed as if it was my fault! When I went to pay I was waiting as the lady who did my brows went to sit with her co-workers and I had to ask to pay! WTF? Even though the price was good ($5), I don't think it was worth it, when I went home I had to pluck the missed stray hairs myself. Waste of time and money. -

Closed on Tuesday due to religious beliefs.
Very clean but to hot in there, heat is always blasted in that store. Cheap place but tell how you would like your brows done otherwise don't complain because you will be in for a surprise.....
I like everything except for the fact that they talk over your head while performing a service. I will mention something next time I'm there because I am paying for a service and It's my brows I dont want them to mess up on it!! -

Good place for eyebrow threading. The price, $5, is standard amongst other Indian salons that offer eyebrow threading. If you want something specific, be sure to let them know (e.g. not too thin, higher arch, etc). If you're not specific, results can be hit or miss. I've never left with eyebrows I hated, but sometimes I've been less than completely satisfied with my brows. Given the price, I can't really complain. Also, it can be a little distracting when the threaders seem to be talking to each while they're taking care of your brows. If you want to be pampered, this is not the place to go.
Bottom line: Good threading for a great value. Four stars for the combination of quality and value. -

I totally agree with the previous reviewers, this is a quick and inexpensive (5 cdn + tip!) place to get your eyebrows nicely done. For an added 2 bucks you can get your upper lip cleaned as well. BTW: You should let them know if you don't want your eyebrows too thin, or if you want arches. There's usually a long line on weekends so I go here during weekdays.
Oh, and this place is closed on Tuesdays! & I got a haircut here once.. um, from my experience, its easier to lose weight than grow out hair... so my advice: do not risk it, just stick to eyebrows ladies! -

Great for eyebrows and THATS it!
Got a haircut- didn't like it.
Got a pedi- didnt like it.
Got a facial- it was alright.
DO NOT EVER GET ELECTROLYSIS DONE HERE-they ruined my skin and after 2 years of going there every 2 weeks i am very unhappy with the results and all that money down the drain! -

If you're like me and go tweezer crazy everytime you attempt to pluck your eyebrows (and then end up with one larger than the other), maybe it's time to seek a professional. I personally love threading and New Visions is a great place to go. They do excellent eyebrow shaping, are quick, and very inexpensive.
From where I live, it's a trek out but SO worth it. For only $7 or so (that's with tip), you will have your eyebrows transferred into beautiful shapely eyebrows (Man I need to go soon!) They also do any other facial type of threading FYI. I've tried many other places closer by my place that offer threading but none of them seem to match up to New Visions.
You just walk in, take a number (like a deli but rather to endure a few quick moments of pain) and then voila, your Brook Shields ready! (Or whichever celebrity eyebrows you like)
And then pop in for a bag of hot samosas next door (only 3 for $1.00 or so) and you're good to go! -

I'm not going to lie - I went here after reading a little writeup in Fashion Magazine. But I'm so glad!! Really clean store, friendly staff. The eyebrow threading was the least painful I've ever experienced so that is definitely a huge bonus! They did a great job - I'd always leave Silky Touch disappointed but I love what they've done. They now have a set customer for a while - and they're lucky.. my eyebrows seem to have a life of their own sometimes...
