This diner in New West serves up cheap Chinese and traditional diner fare on their extensive menu. It looks... clean, well lit, and sparsely decorated... in other words like many other nondescript pay more for food than decor diners! I ordered my 4th hamburger of the week for lunch, which came with some amazing home cut fries and fresh produce toppings. yet the meat tasted like... a total lack of taste. This definitely wasn't gourmet eating, but for $4.50 it was edible.
Consider it perfectly acceptable grease for the starving musician just finishing up their jam at Bullys Rehearsal Space, and apparently a bunch of the locals from the apartments up the street (If they come here there must be something worth eating). Just mind the walk up that steep hill. It burns and its dangerous in the winter, but at least it will put those calories back where they belong. But with all the cafes closing their doors to wedding dress makers on Columbia, consider this option.Listed in: Dive Eats
