    Cheap, solid, generic Chinese food.

I went there for lunch and got a bowl of wonton soup noodles for 4 bucks. I dare you to find a place cheaper that that!  It tasted average and for 4 bucks I'm not going to complain.

Clean (by Asian standards lol) , fast service, good prices. Makes a great lunch break pit stop

Your typical Chinese restaurant but more.

Insufficient lighting? Check. Dated furniture? Check. Bathroom slash storage with cleaning supplies? Check. Fish tanks with crabs/soon to be your dinner? Check. Borderline dirty tables? Check. New Lakeview Seafood & Wonton is your typical Chinese family restaurant. What keep me and my family coming back is their food.

Like many Chinese wonton restaurants, they offer "combo" lunch (e.g. on a plate you get sweet & sour pork, chicken and fried noodles for $8.5). My friends, there is actually such as thing as good sweet and sour pork and bad sweet and sour pork! Don't settle for less!!!

Recently the 3 of us went for dinner. We ordered off their "combo" menu the 3 dish + 1 soup + free crab option. You get to pick from the set menu the 3 dishes. If you go, try their deep fried chicken. It is juicy and tender. Not dried out like chicken jerky. For the crab, we had it spicy. The crab is first deep fried, then tossed in garlic and hot pepper. The crab is done just right. Sweet, cooked perfectly, not too dry.

Needless to say, we couldn't finish all the dishes so we packed the remaining to go. And that's the beauty of it: for $47 (before tips) you get 2 meals! How can anyone beat that?

Even the typical Chinese family restaurants have good ones and bad ones. New Lakeview is definitely one of the better ones.

P.S. They also have take out and delivery. They open till 11pm.

We had dinner here and the restaurant started to get crowded around 7pm. There were a lot of food from roasted duck, chicken, crab and fish maw soup, spicy fried shrimp, egg and veggies to steamed black cod. The food was delicious and was the right temperature (the last thing I want is to have lukewarm food).

As time passed, the restaurant became packed. The waiters were hustling and bustling but still managed to fulfill the requests of their customers. Good job! This place had reasonable food prices and with the number of dishes we had order, I would definitely come back again.

I really liked it. Generally I think Mr. Ho is the best Chinese food in the area, but this place came pretty close. The food came out quick, and the service was good. We got way too much food on purpose to have leftovers, and the price was very reasonable. Will come back again, and make it 5 stars if I have another experience like this one.
