In 1973, well before neoliberalism and globalization became fashionable in the public sphere, The New Internationalist was in print, debating against those ideologies when Thomas Friedman was still a pup.
Be it uprisings in Syria, hunger in Ghana, poverty in the UK, aboriginal struggles in Australia, child soldiers in Colombia, or land-grabbing in Sumatra, NI has covered it, and regularly shames the mainstream media in doing such work.
Subscribe or donate or do both. While entirely self-sufficient, NI could always use your contributions.
Few magazines cover cosmopolitan affairs with such depth or social conscience. Support The New Internationalist (or at least browse their website) if you care about the creation of a fairer and more compassionate world free of imperialism in all its strains.
