New China has both Cantonese and Szechuan style dishes, as well as a few other curried items. Their food is tasty, but they don't really have anything that is necessarily unique or special to their restaurant.
They also have set family dinners and combination plates, which are great when you want variety, but they always seem to throw in sweet and sour chicken balls, something that I'm not really a fan of. The chicken balls don't actually have much chicken in them, and are usually pretty much just deep fried batter - more of a filler than real food.
Like some other Chinese restaurants around the city, they also offer free chicken fried rice if your order reaches a certain amount before taxes. -

I have been to China twice and both times I didn't eat Chinese food. In Beijing I ate mostly Argentine and Mexican and in Hong Kong I ate Mexican and then drank gobs of beer. So, I am not 100% sure if New China sells "authentic" Chinese cuisine. What I do know is that they offer so MANY varieties of Chinese dishes - rice, soups, mu she, ribs, chop suey, chow mein, noodles, curries, and LOTs of Szechuan options. It is a delivery/take away place only, so don't show up and wait to be seated! Most entree dishes are less than $10, some are over $10 (like the scallops and prawns). They have lots of family/combo offers, if you are feeding a small army. And, don't forget to ask for your Fortune Cookie!
