My hunt started at this long time Calgary New Age haunt for a special crystal and also a psychic. I found a powerful stone called "Nuumit" and also the name of an amazing psychic called "Grant." I ended up taking Grant's business card and seeing him at his house. 'Really excellent reading, 'Grant just starts speaking with a strong connection to other realms, and only at the end did he also back his reading up w. a check-in w. the tarot. I am so grateful this little store led me to Grant, who I absolutely recommend and who can be reached @ 403-210--0295 Grant's fee is &60. for half an hour and $100 for one hour. He will tape your session onto CD. His house is filled w. sacred objects and collectibles, and he definitely has Asian sensibilities. He is Pisces and in his 50's, 'well traveled, and has a wife who likes to bake very fragrant cookies! 'The store is a great place to start your hunt for self and Grant is a most excellent way to sum up where you are now & where you're headed!

One of my favourite places to visit when I was growing up in Calgary.
There's just something about this place.
The man who runs it has been there for, no joke, like 2 decades. I remember him when I was growing up, and he's still there, cause I saw him yesterday :)
New Age Books and Crystals sells just that: New age books and crystals. If you're at a point in your life where you're ready to turn inward and take a step towards spirituality, this is the place to start. They've got books from just about every author you'd hope to study, and they've got all the goods to help you relax and reach a perfect meditative state.
I've bought quite a few crystals from this place and have them to this day.
And hey, if you're heading over with a friend and just feel like the whole spiritual thang isn't for you, then good news: The store is attached to The Peacock Boutique. So that means while your friend peruses all the different titles and spiritual works, you can peruse cool hats and trendy fashion!
