I cringe at the thought of finding a new mechanic -- and finding a new transmission specialist is even more daunting. Fixing or replacing a transmission is such an expensive job, and one can easily be misled or ripped off. Not at Nevco. They drove me around for about 15 minutes so I could try to replicate the problem with my automatic transmission. But it didn't happen. They took out the computer and checked for computer codes: None. The mechanic explained all the possible problems and the related costs. Then he said it could be a matter of just topping off the transmission oil, even a little above the full level. He wasn't selling me on a repair or replacement of the transmission. He encouraged me to ride it out. And guess what? It's been more than a month, and I haven't had a problem. I would highly recommend Nevco Automatic Transmission Ltd. They experience AND trust, a great combination in the auto repair industry.

We have built our business on honesty & integrity. Started by Larry's father, Nevio (Nev's Company) Nevco started off in the home garage. The first shop was at 1000 Kingsway and in 1986 the garage in Burnaby opened it's doors. Nevio retired 15 years ago and Larry has continued to expand into drive train repairs and used parts sales. When you need a transmission diagnosis come see Larry, they don't call him the "Transmission Guru" for nothing!
