Expensive? Maybe, but I will take it. I mean seriously, I'll take it. Finally SFU gets on the ball with having an actual grocery store on campus, and it's not hidden in the recesses of the woods! Awesome. We've had a lot of new condos built, but what about all the other people doing what they gotta do on campus? So here we are. Thankfully I don't have to rely on the selection at the little Mac's cornerstore at Production Way anymore... it's been fun? This place seems pretty empty now, but I am sure business will be steady. I mean, who wants to go to Lougheed whenever they need life essentials like shampoo, if they live on campus? It's just weird that we didn't have it before. Also wierd that we don't have a cheap produce store somewhere around here as well, it's SFU... I guess I won't get ahead of myself.
So do I wish there was fresh, cheap produce like Joe's or Kin's, yes... but I hate going out of my way after classes to get something. It's expensive, but if you just want one thing like a baguette or lunch or something, it's fine. You'll figure it out when you get there! Plus it's huge and has stuff besides food, cleaning supplies, a pharmacy, It's pretty big. The premade food looks enticing, I have to say, and they have a lot of really unique products and brands I've never seen, shopping around Burnaby. Plus, it's closer to what the Trader Joe's selections I keep hearing about in the states must be like. Fire-roasted tomatoes? You gooot it. Well, this is Steven Segal, signing out.
Open 8-9? On weekdays, I think... only take my word on the closing time though. -

I just bought a 3 month expired cheese from there...... So when I returned the cheese, I found out that the same brand was gone so I took another brand that was slightly more expensive and they wanted to charge me for the difference! I have also noticed that they have a lot of expired or close-to-expire stuff on their shelves. So check the expiry date before purchasing.
