Just returned to my favourite Neighbours Rest. No longer live in the area so I don't get to frequent here as often as I like.
As always, I like to order from their Greek selection....and always, always meets my expectations :-)
To accompany the great food, we always get great service from their long time workers/servers. I've got nothing but great things to say about this place, but I'm not the only one... They're also featured in "Gotta Eat Here" series, which will be boasting this place. -

Surprised by lack of any reviews, or any recent at all. Guess just not DT maybe. Nice and big resto, w/ vinyl tablecloths, i like that. A bit more family decor than its cousin one on Oak.
Decided to pick up since the Canucks/Hawks game on TV. Ordered the baked lasagna for $13.95, now that's some serious size and good wholesomeness!
Lots of cheese, think more tomato meat sauce would'e been nice but anyone who taste this will agree it's pretty good. Even comes w/ a slice of garlic bread.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Meh
I came here mainly because it was featured on "you gotta eat here" on food network. Kind of expected to be blown away by the pizza featured on the show but there was no fireworks.
Salty, doughy, chintzy on toppings, and just a plain weird combination for a pizza that they consider their deluxe. Not a fan.
Had their wings which was on special on Wednesdays for $0.39 (minimum 10 piece order). Well, you get what you pay for with that. Small wings (I've never seen wings this small at my local supermarket!) and salty. They were dry rub style wings which may explain their saltiness but they were overcooked. Kind of like they were pre-cooked and then just "refreshed" before serving. Served with a side of teriyaki cajun sauce although I have never tasted so much ginger in a teriyaki sauce. It had definitely more of an asian influence. I asked for some hot sauce to go with the wings and received a side of sriracha asian hot sauce. Just plain odd and weird for an italian and greek joint.
Service was good which is why they are getting another star and the beer was decent. I may come back to try the greek food one day but not anytime soon. I'd go elsewhere for pizza. -

Great food. Gotta try the chicken parm. or souvlaki, try the pizza as well! My softball team comes here regularly for the food and great prices.

OK. Decent product, decent pricing. Service staff is friendly but I've found they occasionally are over perfumed. Which doesn't work for me. So while it might be an OK place to order from, but the eat-in experience is something we avoid.

By far the best pizza I've had in Vancouver: Crispy, thick-crust pizza, fresh toppings and the service is fantastic. The servers remembered us after our first visit and welcome us back every time. I don't go there for the Greek or Italian - I'd seek that out elsewhere, but if you want a down to earth, small town atmosphere, a nice pint of 1516 lager or Pale Ale, and a fantastic slice, look no further. Delivery is ok, but this pizza is best tasted staight out of the oven.

Food went downhill, Neighbour's had good food ten years ago. If you must have Greek food in Fraserview/ Killarney Area, then this is the only place.
Pizza's are bad, they're cheap on toppings and expensive on price,
Pasta is better,.Kalamari is still pretty good. They have a steak and spaghetti deal for $18.00 that is ok, comes with fresh salad.
**note Neighbours charges a surcharge for delivery, which is BS. -

Huge portions of simple food is how I would describe my experience at Neighbours. I ordered the lasagna and it tasted fine while having a huge serving of it. Service was extremely friendly.

I'm surprised no reviews for this old classic & popular Italian restaurant in this neighbourhood. It's pretty good place with nice food pizza pasta everything. I went there on a valentines day as they had a special for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the décor is nice too. Worth checking out for sure
