Nature's Garden is hands down the best place to eat on SFU Burnaby Campus. Well, at least for a vegan. They also serve organic meats and eggs, and the owners talked my ear off about how passionate they are about buying from ethical and sustainable sources.
Everything you can buy here is the owner's own recipe. Most of the food is pretty delicious - no complaints. Their vegan sandwich is divine - full of fresh vegetables, with a healthy slather of vegan mayonnaise. They also have gluten-free bread available.
Nature's Garden also offers the cheapest coffee on the mountain, especially if you bring your own cup. I love that they promote less waste!
This is NOT, however, a quiet place to study. No wi-fi, and there's often loud conversations and/or babies in there.Listed in: Vegan Vancouver, Coffee & Tea

I really have to meet all the self-created hype surrounding nature's garden with a resounding 'meh'. It's not that the food is necessarily bad or the service is bad it's just not the BEST SERVICE/FOOD on campus as they always claim loud and proud wherever anyone will bother to listen to them.
Overall the quality is pretty good. I've mostly been impressed by their soups simply because the sandwiches/paninis are a little high priced for me. For a kind of cafe-style food it's all good and about the choices you'd expect. It doesn't necessarily taste 'homemade' but it's good quality cafe food and it's nice that it's organic as well. You can feel good about that.
What Nature's Garden tends to suffer from is selection and price. If you want a soup, salad and sandwich they are pretty good. Personally though simply due to price and my taste I tend to have those things down at Renaissance coffee a couple storefronts away.
I think Nature's Garden is a nice place on campus unfortunately outshone by the fact that its serving up much the same fare as its counterparts with only the organic factor going for it. that said if you're into organics, this is a pretty good place to head. -

I wandered in here because i saw Organic written on it. They have the cheapest coffee on campus $1! It's cheaper if you bring your own cup. It's fair trade coffee too. Feel good all around.
