Nat's is one of my favourite pizza joints, especially when I only need a slice or two.  The dough is not too bready nor too chewy.  The sauce is perfect, not sweet nor too tangy.  The selection is abundant for the pizze slices.  The only thing I ever tried other than pizzas there is the Eggplant-Parmesan sub, breaded and deep-fried eggplant discs with parmesan...  Simply delicious and a great cheese fix.  Prices are very reasonable.  Staff is friendly.  Place is clean.  Pizzas are worth it!

Simply delicious.  Get every penny's worth in flavor & filling.
Love it or not, you have to try the veal parmesan sandwich.  And the slices are always simple & fresh. It makes a big difference to me to be able to taste each of the ingredients.

To be honest, I did think twice before trying this place.  $3 pizza is not exactly cheap for downtown, considering that places such as Megabite are all over the place.  But I am very glad I decided to take the path less taken.

The place looks like any other mom + pop joint from the outside.  Inside were some chalkboards with their specials.  The staff were friendly, and told me a bit about their pizzas.  I ended up trying the Spicy Mushroom, and Meat Deluxe.

The thing that stuck out the most about the pizza is that it wasn't oily at all.  Usually my plate is stained clear, but this one barely left more than a couple of drops.  Also, it was very thin, yet satisfying.

As for the venue itself, it's a bit dingy, and you won't find a table with more than about 4 seats.  So don't hold a wedding here.

It's not everyday that I say this, but Nat's is worth the extra $3 or so you will spend.  I can still taste the pizza now.  Mmm..

My review.  Well, where do I start.  I was extremely lazy today and needed not to go shopping and therefore, I needed a pizza fix.  I immediately consulted Yelp for help.  I found Nat's.  I wanted delivery.  I ordered an extra large Italian Classic.

I opened up the box after it came to the door, and it looked perfectly acceptable.  I took a bite and immediately I tasted something that probably shouldn't have been there, or at least not this much:  salt!

Luckily enough, it didn't extend to other slices.   I do like Nat's thin crust pizza and it seems like a pretty good deal, although, I think that they might want to take some care and attention putting together these pies.  This is my first time eating a Nat's delivery pizza.  I'm hoping to maybe go in at another time and see what they have on order.

At least I'll have half of that for lunch (breakfast?) tomorrow.

For a quick, affordable slice, there's nothing better. Janet loves the vegetarian options, but sometimes she thinks the slices aren't so fresh. I enjoy many of the selections - veggie or meat.

The crust is outta this city!!

    Staff is friendly and hip.

    Great for apres-ski!

    Sincerely,

    Earl and Janet

Nat's CAPTURES THE RUDENESS  of New York with none of the flavor!

Overpriced Pizza, bland food, rude staff....why bother.

    Bravo Nat's, bravo!

I just love their margarita, mushroom and pesto and artichoke pizza. I grab a slice to go and always get great service. Those guys are so friendly. They put that Flying Wedge across the street to shame. I personally don't like my pizza trendy, I'll save that for the clothing. No need for a crazy, experimental mix of strange toppings for me. I like a well made traditional pizza.

I was so looking forward to trying this pizza that I saved the numbers of both locations in my phone book so that if I was ever in the area and needed pizza delivery, I knew where to call.

Alas, I had such opportunity and my hopes and dreams were shattered! I was looking forward to some yummy New York style pizza.  We got delivery, but the delivery guy was in a very bad mood for some reason, which we were willing to look past. But the pizza wasn't that great. It wasn't very warm to start with, and we weren't that far from Denman.  Then we had asked for extra cheese, and there was definitely no extra cheese on this pizza. It had the bare minimal amount of cheese required to fall into the pizza category. On top of all that, the crust was kinda blah. I liked the thin crust idea for the base, but I was expecting more sponginess in the ends of the crust. Instead it was just dry.

One good thing was that the pizza was not greasy. However, I think that was it for the pluses. Maybe it's better if you order by the slice from this place?

To conclude, I was quite disappointed and so were my friends, since I had hyped this place up quite a bit from the reviews I read on Yelp. :(

Yes the name is deceiving.  If you are looking for a true New York style pizza this is not it.

However, if you want one of the best slices in Vancouver then you are in the right place.  The pizza is thin (crust) and crispy.  The toppings are tasty and abundant.  The service is good.

So skip the rest and pay a little more for a decent slice or pie that comes as close to NY without being 2000 miles away.

This was the worst pizza I have ever tried. Our group of 4 could not eat it and upon returning to the hotel room I finished my cold half eaten pho from this morning and ordered dominos. OVERPRICED, BLAND CRAP.

Hmm... dollar pizza. Sadly, the epically wonderful ways of dollar pizza have given way to a slightly more expensive version as of late and now $2.50 is the going rate. Nat's New York Pizzeria is one of these but is well worth the inflated cost.

They specialize in thin-crust pizza, the recipe of which was inspired by the great-, great-, great-grandmother of owners Nat and Franco. The thin-crust simplifies the pizza experience, allowing the depth and dimension to come from their varying toppings. Unlike other pizzerias, Nat's doesn't overload the crust with toppings, usually limiting it to less than five giving each ingredient that chance to stand alone in a medley of flavour.

There's a good mix of meat-inspired pizzas and vegetarian ones (including one vegan!). My favourites are the pesto artichoke and the Fifth Avenue. They also serve foot-long heros, pasta and salad.

I used to eat here all the time but i came here a couple of weeks ago and was a teeny tiny bit let down. Don't get me wrong, it's still great pizza but something seemed to be missing. Maybe it's because i ate some seriously amazing New York pizza when i was in NYC? This falls short of that experience. I still like that they have honey as a topping.. unless that's meant for tea, but i don't care, i put it on my pizza here!

Not quite as large as their location in Kits, but it's most definitely a convenient place to grab a slice and mozy on down to the beach.

The friendly guys behind the counter and the quick and reasonably priced slices make this place a true winner.

Much like dating a pornstar, this place is highly overrated.  I've had their pepperoni, margherita and others and none are any better than any other place in Vancouver.  Plus it's generally more expensive than the cheaper options that exist downtown on Pender.  I think Nat's gets pumped up because it's really the only option on Denman's.  But don't think this will knock your socks off, because it won't. If you're dying for a slice of pie, it'll do in a pinch, but if you're dying because of lack of pizza, you've got bigger issues.

I had a slice of the Margherita pizza the other day, but I was a little disappointed in how average it turned out to be. It was just a normal, completely forgettable slice of pizza. While it satisfied my pizza fix, I don't think I'll bother going back.

Said the single pizza would be here within 45 minutes (c'mon... downtown with us a 5 min drive away in a walkup?).  At almost an hour, I called back.  Rude, wouldn't commit to when the pizza would arrive, "it'll be there in some minutes", cut me off the phone.  8:30 at night now. Still no pizza.  Never again.
