Review from Jason D.
Ottawa, ON
One night, my wife and I were tired of eating at home and (after a day of watching the Food Network) were in the mood for something gourmet, wonderful and exotic. We discovered Napo just around the corner. We had a few issues just getting to the restaurant - first, the restaurant is a tiny house right on Bank Street. So, there is NO parking. We drove around and had to settle for the lot of the new Shoppers Drug Mart they are building next door. Next, the kitchen staff seems to like hanging outside the side door to smoke and chat. That kind of put us off a little. The food, however, did make it up to us. Their menu, since it is based on locally grown goods, varies from time to time. It is a multi-course affair where you choose one item from one of three categories - apps, first course and second course. It is kind of like eating at an Italian wedding. Pacing yourself is the key! Don't clean your plate every time! The atmosphere is Italian elegance and friendly. My advice is to walk there.
