As advertised: "All Nando's chickens are marinated for 24 hours in our secret sauce until the flavor goes right through to the bone". [Boy they are not lying about RIGHT THROUGH THE BONE]! "They're then
flame-grilled and basted in your choice of Nando's Peri-Peri sauce."
The lemon herb and extra hot (I did begin to sweat) were exceptionally juicy and tasty! -

This was my first trip to this well estabished chain. I typically opt out of chain dining but this place has won me over. The chicken is cooked tender and the sides are generous. The key to this spot are the peri peri sauces, and the garlic peri peri is pretty much awesome.

Nandos is a fast food joint with slow food charm. They serve primarily chicken, but this isn't KFC. On Tuesdays they have a Leg Dinner for Two special that will cost you less than $15. This gets you two chicken thighs with the legs attached and a side dish for each person. It's a pretty sweet deal as I couldn't finish both pieces and tomorrow's lunch will be a tasty reminder. If you order the Peri-peri chicken choose your heat carefully. I normally like insanely hot food, but the hot was tempting my limits.
Nandos' downtown location hasn't been open very long and there are a few kinks to work out. The service at the counter was really fast and super friendly, but it took awhile for the food to come. It could be just me as when I think fast food I think of cardboard resembling food served on a tray quickly. Once you order though you get a number and someone does bring you the food. The seating is where that slow food charm comes in. The dining area resembles nothing like the clown filled zoo the burger establishments offer. The best way to describe it is an upscale cafe with fast food ceiling paint. Big, bright, yet trendy. -

Best fries n' chicken in the whole world ........... love their sauces, good service, friendly staff, great atmosphere & very reasonable drink prices, will definitely go there again soon.
