Review from Steve T.
Brantford, ON
I didn't love everything about the food here - the curry wasn't what I'm used to. But the spring rolls were awesome, and I like the atmosphere of the building they are in - a big old building in downtown Brantford.
Looks like they're moving to a new location soon - will try them there once it's open. -
Review from Min Min T.
Scarborough, ON
Stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting Alexander Graham Bell's homestead. This little diner has a bold sign that stands out against a plethora of delipadated and abandoned stores along Colborne West.
For lunch, most dishes ranged from $9-12 and there are three or four choices for the herbivore. The vegetarian pad thai, sprinkled with peanuts, wasn't too bad, although the noodles and the tofu were a bit tough to chew. There was a good variety of vegetables, including carrots, long beans, baby corn and bamboo shoots. The green curry had a good kick as well and came with a generous portion of white rice and a fresh spring roll. The Thai ice tea, although a little pricey at $3, is worth it and totally rocks!
By the looks of the interior, this restaurant used to be an old pub. It's particularly spacious inside and has an electric chair for people with disabilities, who would have trouble going down the stairs to the washrooms.
Very friendly service and the waiter was nice enough to chat with us a little. Stop here for a smile and some good food.
