What an awesome, cute little boutique consignment store! I found some adorable pointy toe shoes in a light teal colour for only $18! And they don't even look worn! Also saw an adorable blue hand bag for $16, but I had just bought a new handbag of the same colour so i didn't get it.  I would totally come back.  It's in a very unsuspecting spot (IMHO), and we just happened to stumble upon it. But great discovery indeed!

What a wonderful little shop. All the proceeds go to help battered women and they have a decent selection of shoes, jewelry and clothes.

My friend got a cute leather jacket for 35 bucks and my sister picked up a pair of Michael Kors leather boots for 50 dollars and a new Aritizia winter jacket for 80 dollars.

I will be returning with a bag of my gently used clothing to donate. Check this store out!!!

I really like this shop - good selection with some excellent finds, including a gorgeous brown suede coat for $20 - small line of ballpoint ink in an inconspicuous spot, but I only wanted it for daily wear so now I don't have to worry about staining it myself! I adore that the money I spend here goes to support a truly worthy cause: support services for our sisters who desperately need a helping hand to get started again, free from abusive situations. I have gathered up a couple of bags of my outgrown clothing (my diet worked!) to donate here - once I get it all to the laundromat, that is. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a mothers' swap table for baby & kid clothes. There are also some great shoes & boots, and a men's section.

First of all My Sister's Closet is a bit pricey. But the quality and the brands they offer are worth it. I manged to get a Le Chateau dress for $26 and a Talula Gina Skirt for $18. The store is very organized and the staff are really friendly. Plus there's no tax added on to your purchase and proceed got to the Battered Women's Support Service. :]

My Sister's Closet is more than just a thrift shop. They carry high end stuff and get donations from stores and companies like Aristia all the like. The ladies there are friendly, the staff clearly works hard. Everything is priced fairly reasonable considering it's a more high end place. The best thing though, is that 100% of the money you spend goes to Battered Women's Support Services aaand there's nooo tax.

This boutique thrift shop is among the top of my fave retail therapy spots. They carry high end donated clothing (often with the original tags still on) and sell it for a fair price. Cheaper than VV and the quality is much higher. When I was in there today I noticed a lot more new locally-designed items for sale at full price. While I liked the new designs I was not in the mindframe to drop $70 on a belt (as beautiful as it is) and felt like there was less of the thrift stock to look through. Since I come here primarily in search of cheap but high quality clothing, it's naturally what I look for first! I noticed that their awning and branding has changed a bit though, so I'm guessing that the store is going more high end, and that's ok! I just have to get used to it. Still a great shop and worth a look, especially for women's jeans! I bought a brand new pair of jeans with the $100 tags still on for $20. So freakin' sweet.

Love this place. Don't take all the good stuff, K? There's a redhead who will hunt you down and sneak off with your shopping bags! So I hear anyway... ; )

My Sister's Closet on Seymour is the sister store for the charity, consignment shop that helps battered women of all ethnic backgrounds start over. The clothes are actually mostly designer and are donated by local shops, they're just last season or overstock.  I bought a BCBG suit jacket that was brand new and originally $300 for $22!  Portia is one of the volunteer coordinators and has the best heart.  She is super cool and helpful when it comes to selecting clothes.  They also carry a great selection of men's clothing and have a range of sizes available.
